From what the programmers say around here, adding more people won't help anything. Apprently code is like a fine wine or some shit like hat.
Programming is no different than any other business operation. Clearly it can be scaled, but it takes resources. Yes its very personal to some programmers, but that doesn't mean they couldn't set direction, and have junior staff do the heavy lifting, and just oversee their work. These are all operational decisions. Clearly Stern doesn't understand this, and their business will ultimately suffer for it.
