GB code update...music to my ears.
Shouldn't it be the State of Stern Address? What does Stern of the Union mean, anyway? These are the real important questions.
Despite a really rough past with Stern, I'm always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, especially knowing that Jody is out of the marketing department. I think we should reserve the skepticism for now and be happy that there's an effort being made here. Yes, Stern has as history of one step forward two steps back approaches and false starts in marketing, but this feels very different. I like it. This beats a vague "stay tuned" any day.
And if they don't come through, then ok, get snarky. For now, let's see if they've turned a corner on this sort of thing.
We're getting close to the tease for the next game, which should be playable at TPF. Maybe we don't get any images or video, but we might get a small hint on what's to come there.
The new additions to the software team are great, and I love seeing a UI/UX guy on there. Hopefully this doesn't just improve code frequency, but sees that games are shipped with much better initial code. It would be amazing if Stern was working on better tools to improve their code development atmosphere, and these hires point to them trying to do just that.
