Quoted from T-800:That may very well be, but my guess is it's DONE according to STERN/Lyman...
not what I have been told.

not what I have been told.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Stern army locations also get discounts on NIB games.
what sort of discounts should we expect?
GREAT NEWS on 3 more software hires!!!!!!!!!!!
Love seeing that!!! That is real action to show they know that they are behind the 8 ball on code issues.
Quoted from Sinestro:We will also have sneak peeks of our latest Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman ’66 code releases exclusively for TPF in the Stern Marco booth.
Safe to assume that if all they are hyping 1 week out form the largest pinball show of the year is some code updates, that we are not seeing a new game next week?
Quoted from Sinestro:SPIKE isn’t crap. Gomez promised documentation on the NODE boards at TPF, so they will no longer be a closed box for repairs or mods. He also reiterated that the node board failures were an early issue, and bad node boards have dropped off almost completely.
Glad to hear they are finally going to document. I spent about 20 min speaking with a member of their team at TPF and he admitted that just recently they found a bug in Lonnie coded games which is causing the intermittent weak flipper issue. Sounds like it is due to the limitation of the pipeline for data flow and they are having to rework stuff, but said it was at least adressed in the most recent code that was on GOTG at the show. I hope they go back to kiss to fix this issue also.
Would also be a smart business move for them to publicly address this when they patch all his previous games.
I would say this is a pretty big thing
"Stern at the Midwest Gaming Classic:
More details to come, but stay tuned for what will arguably be the largest presence of Stern Pinball at a pinball show in history. Come visit us at the Stern Marco Specialties booth to play our newest game Iron Maiden as well as our other latest games! For more information on the Midwest Gaming Classic show please visit - https://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/"
Previously the presence has been fair to OK. Sounds like this year is gonna be a blow out!
Quoted from cooked71:Curious as to why Stern haven picked MGC over one of the other shows. Apart from Expo, is this considered a “Home” show for Stern?
MGC is one of the best shows in the land. It is also just a blast of a place and the logical place for them to debut their newest game in some big numbers. MKE is also only about 1.5 hr from the factory, so why now.
Looks like MGC has plenty of room to fill the new convention center so makes sense! Gonna be amazing!
Quoted from JodyG:And you think I haven't been complaining other places? Surprisingly they haven't deleted the numerous comments on their SOTU post on the Facebook page today. I've voiced my disdain for this issue through numerous channels, and I don't plan on letting up any time soon.
Don’t let up!!! Keep in mind that they were not doing shit for code updates until the “where is the code” online movement started.
It is pathetic how GB has sat this long. First the game has some critical physical flaws, then the ghosting pfs, and toss on the stagnant code.
Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:All reasons why I never bought it, but freakin love the theme. It was one of my favorite movies.
GB sold very well from what I understand. So all the more reason they should update the damn code
Quoted from TreyBo69:I wonder how much the playfield issues ate into their profits on the title. The money to fix the physical game for customers might have eaten up a lot of the money that they would have budgeted for long term software support.
Stern certainly isn't going into the red for a game that they no longer manufacture and might not ever run again. (Not worth the Trudeau association and the playfield layout is polarizing)
Good points. I will say, I am much more concerned with the steady increase in Playfield issues over lacking code.
Is this the new acceptable quality on an 8k game?

Iron Maiden we got has this to a lesser extent. I sent a pic to Chas and got a shrug. Beatles DOES seem to be worse, though. I've seen some worse than yours.
But it's not a Stern-only thing as jjPotC has similar clear (or maybe adhesion) issues.
This is BY FAR worse than anything I have seen from others!
Quoted from kermit24:Isn’t Spooky having similar playfield issues with TNA? harryhoudini
Lol
Spooky minor chipping under star posts on a limited number of TnA and they apparently addressed and took care of...
This BS is 1/2 inch bubbles that are going to full peal the art as soon as posts are moved
Quoted from Rondogg:BK3 pro is not a good location game. Unless you play a lot then the average game time is going to be about 45 seconds with a ball saver that will work about 5% of the time for a good player, 0% for a bad player. I like watching the pros blow it up but even an incredible game lasts less than 5 minutes. No, this one was designed for tournament finals.
do you have one on location?
Just curious if this is a WAG or real life experience on how BK3 does on route?
Quoted from twenty84:A friend of mine has one on location and said it was his best earning game last month. Of course any new game will earn well, and time will tell if that holds up.
You've posted these details of a Beatles playfield in multiple threads now and talk about it frequently. I agree this isn't acceptable, but what is the story here? Whose game is this? Did they try to get a new playfield? Although Stern is no stranger to playfield issues, they are also very good about replacing them.
photos from 3 games in total now (I take pics of each one I see and they are all in varying degrees of the same).
all 3... still waiting on distro/Stern at this point for resolution.
With GB, the replacement was relatively easy... this time, not so much it seems.
