Quoted from mrobertso2:This. The mods are great. Here's the rub. The whole point was that pinball companies built the LE's to give consumers more value for the game than the pro or operator model. As companies got cheaper, private parties started making mod's for pinballs that SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! WTF! So I see some great mods from Stern for there LE's and pros. My question is they should have the armor and the topper etc as an LE. That's what an LE is. We are just paying more for a game that should have been made this way in the first place. Stern isn't stupid they looked at all the people building mods and said "wow look at all the after market money we can make on this stuff". Make the F'N game like its suppose to be. Rant over
If you don't like don't buy. It is as simple as that.
What I think Stern did was smart. They are in business to make money simple as that. If I could find a way to sell thousands of dollars ($80,000 to be exact 200x$400) to my customers on a topper. I'm on it. Its a no brainer.
You now have a Pro model and a Premium model they are selling as an LE, and you have to buy the LE stuff. Kind of like when the changed the home model to a Pro and changed the regular model to the LE.
If they build it we will buy it. I'm not sure why but we do.
