Quoted from D-Gottlieb:

You can disable it in the service menu.

This. Although if @rockfordreplay's distributor is forcing him to buy a shaker he doesn't want, that's not cool.

I don't see how any distro can require an option.

A "required option" does start to sound like an oxymoron.

The dealer is cool... The back and forth was in e-mail.

I initially mentioned my concern about the shaker with other order requests. The dealer's reply included an add-on comment not seeing my concern. I then, felt the need to explain in an another reply. The dealer acknowledged understanding in my thought and decision and included further input countering my worry. I didn't feel pressure to maintain the shaker, but I do find the 2 positions interesting;

- If vibration 'can' lead to premature failure - don't add the shaker.
- Electronics have been shaken for a long time without issues - the shaker wont hurt anything.

I can't say whats right or wrong. For me; The machine purchase is crazy expensive and I do worry. Standard testing may provide confidence.

I added this adjuster to lessen the shake. There is a thread on here somewhere on how to do it.
