I bought my AC/DC from an out of state distributor, and I was able to pick it up at Stern. I know a lot of people who did this over the years. They changed their policy a while back and no longer allow it. I had to pay over $200 bucks to have my STLE shipped to me, and I live 20 minutes from the factory. Seems like a ridiculous waste of time, money and resources. I believe JJ is correct. The change in policy definitely had something to do with the government cracking down on taxes.
