I have a Stern Monopoly pinball and the display is not working. I have replaced the Display Power PCB with new aftermarket, replaced the DMD PCB, replaced the ribbon cables, replaced the DMD with a colorDMD display, replaced the Display ROM and CPU ROM. When I turn the game on I get "Monopoly and the ROM version" displayed then a blank screen. I am getting the proper 5.01 Voltages. I can play the game blind but it would be nice to see what my score is. Any ideas? Could someone point me in the right direction? I have contacted Stern and they said I could send them my CPU board. I would like to see if anyone can help me out first. Any ideas??

I mean it sounds like your CPU board is the last possibility. I'd reflow the pins for the display connector, but other than that, it's probably something difficult to diagnose without having the board right in front of you. If Stern (or someone else) is willing to repair it, I'd go for it.

If it's getting the startup screen I wouldn't think it would be the display connectors

Pinwiki has a few other tings to check if you're only getting the game name and display version:

Startup screen just means it's got power and a turn on signal. There's many other pins that could be failing to connect.

I'd check to make sure your display PROM isn't upside down, though.

HAHA... That is the first thing I checked. Not upside down! I have contacted Coin-Op Cauldron and they will fix the CPU PCB. Looks like I will be going that direction.
