Stern Meteor pinball $850. I bought this machine to keep myself but right afterwards I bought 2 Williams games that appeal to me more, due to space limitations this is going away. Playfield touched up and automotive clear coated. touchups are ok but not perfect, clear looks great, some crescent shaped areas around some inserts showing. At least $475 in parts have been put into this game. Backglass has flaking/wrinkling mainly in lower right corner. Cabinet is nice looking other than a half dozen or so marks on the left side of body and a piece of plywood veneer off under coin door at bottom edge. I am not familiar with Sterns but will do my best to describe operation. Seems to play fine, sound works but acts like it could use some attention (new capacitors $3.50 from GPE) because it seems to cut out a little and seems scratchy. playfield switches and lights appear to be working but may need some cleaning/adjusting here and there. Displays all seem fine except one burn spot on a credit digit and player 3 last digit has a top segment line out. I looked online a little and could find a fix for just a single digit segment out. Legs have been repainted a hammertone grey. New lock, free play credit button installed in centerh plate, includes 2 coin mechs. Some paperwork/schematics included. I replaced crimp contacts in several molex connectors. Power outlet in body has tape on the wiring connector, credit knocker is missing. I would say all in all a nice game only needing a little attention to adjusting/tuning.100_7348.jpg100_7348.jpg100_7349.jpg100_7349.jpg100_7350.jpg100_7350.jpg100_7351.jpg100_7351.jpg100_7352.jpg100_7352.jpg100_7353.jpg100_7353.jpg100_7354.jpg100_7354.jpg100_7355.jpg100_7355.jpg100_7356.jpg100_7356.jpg100_7357.jpg100_7357.jpg100_7358.jpg100_7358.jpg100_7359.jpg100_7359.jpg100_7361.jpg100_7361.jpg

Posting so my wife can drool since it's way too far away to get.

I gotta say that's a very thorough description. Nice FS post!

Just curious...what were the two Williams games that appeal to you more that led to desire to sell Meteor?

Firepower & Jungle Lord plus I am planning on bringing Gorgar down from my second floor. He is lonely up there.

Thanks to sixpakmopar for the smooth transaction on the Meteor. Had a good time talking pinball and see the machines in his collection. Looking forward to getting the Meteor 100% working and having some quality play time on it. More than likely this will be one of the machines I use in the Classic tournament at the Pinball Pyramid show in September.
