Back to the Future is a platinum theme for a good pin, that's for sure.

I agree with the people that say JJP should do this, and not Stern. With Stern, chances are just too big for it to become another Star Wars. With which I'm saying: a pretty good game, but not the best when it comes to theme immersion. BTTF needs awesome theme immersion.

IMHO, a new BTTF pin should not just have the logo slapped on it as many times as possible and the main theme playing all day long. Instead, it should make the player feel like he's experiencing an adventure *inside* the BTTF world, with all the appropriate bells, whistles, sights and sounds that come with that. Attention to detail in every aspect is key. To me, JJP has the best cards to pull this off.

    Quoted from lancestorm:

How about toys with 3 sides to them, wherein depending where you are in the game movie wise the other 2 sides are below the playfield, only revealing themselves with the progression of the game? Like the 3 types of Biffs or 3 clock towers

Cool! Or a part of the playfield that actually does this, instead of a toy. So, less like Bride of Pinbot and more like Lights, Camera, Action! That game has either a ramp to the upper playfield or a lane to the upper left flipper, dependent on what part of the rotating playfield is up.
