LOTR Vault with an upgraded color screen and graphics is a no brainer.....I had a TRON LE and sold it....I don't get the love for that game....

If they remade this game with upgraded color and graphics they would sell like hot cakes....yes there are many out there, but the opportunity to own a NIB LOTR would sell very well

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Fair enough. But maiden sells like hot cakes. Munsters will sell like hot cakes. Beatles seems to be selling at least as good as regular cakes.
So not sure why THIS particular game needs to be vaulted. There’s more
To it than just the hotcake factor. Stern has plenty of tasty baked goods in the oven already. Can’t you smell them?
Mmmmmmmm

Never said it had to...just commenting on if and when it ever is it would most likely be a great seller. Maybe Munsters? Other than that I've had zero interest in Sterns last 4 titles....Iron Maiden looks nice, but I can't stomach their music

Stern can essentially replicate CGC's business model, which I believe has been proved successful. Basically CGC has picked off highly rated pins (MM, MB, AFM) and improved them with better graphics, and sound. If Stern did this LOTR would be a home run....

Quoted from Rarehero:

Supply and demand has to be taken into account. CGC's model works because the games they've made so far were going from 12k-20k restored, and were produced in relatively low production numbers. LOTR had a HUGE production run that went on for years. It was hard to find MM, AFM, and MB. It's not hard to find LOTR.

supply and demand need to always be taken into account so I couldnt agree more...that being said its a top rated game, and a new and improved version would sell very well in my opinion....even at the $7K+ mark

Quoted from flynnibus:

'know it would sell but don't want one' - huh??
'those who think it should be UPDATED and priced at 5.5k'? - You mean the people living in fantasy?
You're not even making sense... just dreaming.

considering the inflated prices of pinball these days I suspect it would be priced in the $7500 range...it would still sell well at that price (IMHO)

Quoted from Rarehero:

Put a ColorDMD in that thang! So much better!

Yep this game screams for a colorDMD and shaker....

Quoted from PinMonk:

The LE is also screaming for a condom.

Huh?

Quoted from pipes:

It looks even better in person.

They look awesome...how much are they?

Quoted from John_I:

Agree on the originals looking nice other than the newspaper print resolution on the cabinet. The LEs on the other hand are butt ugly with the gold trim and the cock on the backglass. That could basically be fixed with an original translite and a little powder coat.

Totally agree with the side art quality...its garbage....totally disagree with the brass armor....it looks great on this game
