Gnr's music gives me migraines, but I'd suffer through them before buying LZ. Same old S.R. time to pass the torch to Keith.

Quoted from beelzeboob:The worst thing I ever said about a new game was that the Beatles game looked like an Easter basket. And that was because I was PISSED that I had to recall my deposit on the game. I also don't create stupid memes to bash a game and I never go out of my way to be disrespectful to something somebody else likes. And I state my criticism once in that thread and I'm done unless there's a need to clarify.
Here's where I think you're wrong: I have WOZ and SW right next to each other. One is packed. One is barren. Both are a hell of a lot of fun. Some people here really have to get past the BOM argument and realize that the value of a game isn't just how many toys you can put on a playfield.
It's called internet debating.
It's never objective or logical.
It often involves trolls.
It often involves people criticizing the process.
It often involves people explaining the criticism of the process.
It is fun.
Quoted from pinmister:How can you love GNR? I am calling bull-shit for you and ICE. I seriously doubt either one of you have ACTUALLY played GNR and are just clinching your pearls in anticipation of actually receiving your games. You can talk the talk-but can you walk the walk? Guys can we please actually play both games and then make a REAL comparison-or just continue trolling?
The only trolls here are you and Elvis. You can judge a game quite a bit based on video. It's just the truth so get over it. And if you don't like your own thread, go away.
Quoted from Elvishasleft:I agree 100%, wouldnt it be nice if JJP could combine the two and have a game with all the stuff that rocked to play also?
Its one or the other with them and has been since the clunkfest of WOZ.
You either get a good playing game with weaker theme and stuff (Dialed in, Wonka) or the exact opposite where all people talk about is lights and toys etc.
The good news is that you're just one dude. Lots of people like the gameplay and the themes of JJP. They sell games, and GnR was/is a smash hit.
I hate GnR (the band) more than most bands, and I generally don't like the look of the gameplay I've seen. That won't stop me from recognizing that I'm in the minority. If they keep doin' what they're doin', the only thing they have to worry about is an Elvis fan or two hating on them. Good place to be!
Quoted from Elvishasleft:Not sure how I come off as arrogant just giving an opinion as someone who actually played it a bunch.
I am just trying to be honest since most of the praise for this game is coming from people who haven't touched one yet.
Game of the year already based on the pictures... lol
If you like JJP games hands down Wonka is their best playing game IMO, I wouldnt even put GNR in the top 3 and I wanted to like it.
Maybe I would feel different if I had one at home but there was nothing about it playing wise that made me want to spend that kind of dough. Wish there was because i would have one here.
It's not that you're arrogant. It's that you're thick. Big difference.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:It was never going to suck! Unless you listen to a certain few idiots who have never seen, played or had any interest in buying. Never understood people like that, but maybe it makes em happy
People like different things. The things I love suck to other people. Never understood people that can't unerstand that. Maybe they're living in a bubble.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Yes, but why can't people say their piece, then move on? To regurgitate the same thing over and over and over and over makes no sense. Don't like, don't buy. Easy
The same can be said to those who want to rehash celebrating a specific machine. Debate is fun for both sides. You might see LZ as a great machine, while I see it as a cheap, rehashed fan layout that is worse than usual. I'm interested in hearing what you like about it. If you're not interested in hearing what I dislike about it, you can start by ignoring me and everyone who disagrees with your point of view. Don't like what you're reading? Don't read. Easy.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:What i really find funny is you 2 don't even contribute to pinside financially. How come?
Lol. Where the hell did that come from?
Quoted from Pinchild:I Love JJP I'm telling you the ZP is a fantastic fun unique game.
Check my owned in past as well s current.
Definitely worth owning for a year or so
I'm not a year or two kinda guy, but I'm glad you like it!
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:How long do you hold on to them? And how many plays do you put on your games?
I rarely sell games at all. I try to buy games that I know I'll love forever. I have more games in my basement than most of the arcades I went to as a kid. I don't see the need to rotate.
Quoted from SWfan:If you disagree, its either because you haven't played them or you are in denial.
Quoted from SWfan:They would rank like this:
1. LZ Left Ramp
2. LZ Right Ramp
3. LZ Center Ramp
4. GNR Right (“drum sticks”) Ramp
5. LZ Left Orbit
