This release has been on lock down! No leaks yet is crazy!
I'm curious what everyone would think if Stern decided each LE was to be $12,800 delivered, each Premium was to be $9800 delivered, and each Pro $7000 delivered. They could then add a few more things to compete with JJP on the mechs/bling department. Would we all be willing to pay that multiple times a year like we do now? That's always the question I ponder. I now get a couple LE's a year, but if the price were north of 10k it'd be a different mental hurdle to climb and I probably wouldn't end up with quite so many. Food for thought anyways. For now I'm glad they are south of that 10k mark and am pretty pleased with what is offered.
Noticed in the stream that they may have adjusted the artwork from the press materials. Particularly the portraits of the band members appear to have shifted around. Hooray! No more unicorn JPJ!

Decided to stick with my LE purchase here despite general group sentiment. I actually think the game will shape up nicely and that electric magic spinner mech shot looks mega satisfying after watching some streams. Great music to boot. Here’s to hoping!
I could see this to be honest. The pro does appear to be really stripped down this time around though I've not played it. The additional ramp and EM mech seem to add A LOT to the game. I'm really looking forward to getting mine and ripping some spinners

I'm torn on this. Personally, I would agree its too early. My initial impression wasn't favorable, but I need more time on it and also see where things go with code. Its WAY too early to write it off.
With that said, Stern did release the game into the wild. As long as it is an informed review (and not just an attempt to bash the game), I feel that they have every right to give it low ratings if that's how the individual feels.
And, really, do the reviews actually mean that much? If you like the game (or hate it for that matter), who cares what anyone else thinks??
Take it to PMs guys. Ridiculous having to read around your two’s crap for chatter related to the game.
On the slam tilt podcast Tim confirmed no stairway in the game. It was nice to hear RayDay was working on rules/modes and continual improvements. Its a good listen.
Wooo can’t wait to hear how the premium/Le plays. Hopefully we get a quick software update once those launch as well to get a feel if the rules develop substantially or not.
Took me a while to find this but immediately thought of this post when I saw the news of Steve to JJP. Did you know something we didn’t!? MNPinball strikes again!
Quoted from mnpinball:
The irony is right in front of everybody‘s eyes. Could this be Steve’s last game ?
Steve has always been one of my favorites.
