Call outs?
Seriously doubt the band will be doing this.
Plant doesn’t sign sh^t for anyone.
So, are you gonna have Ritchie doing silly call outs like he did on Black Knight - example “Run home to mommy “
If so, it will be Led Balloon
I really hope they do i great job though as I love the rock pins but it’s going to be compared against GnR.

I'm looking forward to see how Stern pull this off.
Like others have said, its a strange pin theme but hey, I like their music and I'm a fan of rock/metal genre so I'm happy.

This should be a proper geezers pin, beer swigging, joint smoking (if that's your bag) piss up party good fun act

Also, Stern seems to be keeping everyone happy just now, with the varied mix of titles so everyone's a winner.

#286 3 years ago

So who's doing the call outs I wonder....
Worse case.... they can do an IMDN call out structure which worked very well.
Please keep Ritchie away from the Mic, no offense.
I highly doubt LZ will do them.

Let’s hope Stern haven’t put a blimp on a Spring:-
A blimp is an inflatable vehicle that gets its shape from the pressurized gases that fill it. Without an internal rigid shape of its own, the lighter-than-air vehicle deflates when that gas isn't present. Unlike blimps, zeppelins have rigid frames that retain their shape whether or not they are filled with gas

Quoted from Vino:

So which album would be best inspiration for cabinet art? Thoughts/predictions?
[quoted image]

As I said in a previous post, then peeps got their knickers in a twist . Been into LZ for years, not a massive fan, have digged their tunes but the album art through the era hasn’t been the greatest for a PIN, sorry for album covers it’s great but for a pin cab or trans?
The newer Mothership and Celebration Art Deco is better style more suited to Pin art so that gets my vote.

I’m not sure I could buy unseen...: saying that....
That’s why I missed out on GnR CE.However, the LE is still awesome.

#572 3 years ago

^^^^ I’ll piss myself laughing
With Ritchie shouting “Jackpot”

Quoted from screaminr:

Led Zep is my favourite band I really hope it comes out awesome .

Yes, I love all the rock pins, I’m also eagerly waiting for a hit....do you remember this from years ago?
One of my favs is LZ IV

Well I did say, LZ Album art through the early times wasn't great.
To put it on the Pin was a mistake.

Art Deco Mothership with the symbols would have been killer for the LE!

Quoted from chuckwurt:

Art is at the bottom of my list of how I rate games. Nothing is lower. Some of the greatest games I’ve ever played look like absolute hell.
Someone said it really well before. You got the people that care how a game looks, and the others that care how a game plays.
I like to play them. .

That’s not the point most here are making about LZ.
Let’s say for example the gameplay is outstanding on this title.
Would you rather have the art on LZ excellent or crap.
I’m sure most would take the former, you included, I’m sure

#1809 3 years ago

Afraid to say guys but it’s common knowledge the album covers from old are known to be a bit crap.
They still had Art Deco styles - Mothership + Celebration day they could have worked with and could have / should have brought in a decent artist like they did with other Stern rock titles, Kiss + Met + Luci + Aero.
Only themselves to blame for the schoolboy errors. A high % of the fans/collectors who were looking forward are unfortunately upset with the look of all 3, they would have caught a break at least if they looked semi decent but from here I feel they have got off on the wrong foot. Sincerely hoping the gameplay will be great cause I really like LZ and love the genre of pins.
I like the majority of the PF and actually like the colours on the PF.

Someone at Stern must have thought fans who love LZ music automatically love their album covers as well - huge mistake!
Anyone who collected vinyl years ago will know album art / covers were hit or miss - we were thankful when picture disks were released

I’ve got boat loads of vinyl in my loft of music I love - all metal + rock - some album covers I truly love, some are total pants!

Having just watched the stream on Stern Insider.

I think Ritchie, Sexton and the rest of the team have to be commended.
I had my doubts with the Theme but they have pulled this off. The Electric Magic Spinner is fun for sure and well integrated.
Pin is a flow monster and looks highly addictive. Appears much attention to detail has went into the shot geometry.
Love the animations of the tour plane, Zeppelin launch and psychedelic band footage.
I'm in on an GnR LE but have to say, this looks to me, a much better shooter.

Quoted from mnpinball:

Brendon Small does the callouts, same guy that did sparky in Metallica and Jacky and Aerosmith.
He’s vocally pretty versatile and is the singer for Metalocalypse and Dethklok.

English accent call outs are pants.
You cannot even place the accent anywhere in the UK, trust me. I've lived in this shit hole all my life

#2377 3 years ago
Quoted from jeffspinballpalace:

Don’t forget to count the zeppelins on lcd screen. That will add another 3 or so and game should meet your quota. THERE ARE NOW MORE ZEPPELINS THAN SONGS !!! Arregggghhh.

You avatar kinda looks like a Zeppelin

Quoted from Elvishasleft:

At least its not him which is most americans idea of the british.[quoted image]
