Yep... even if he gets permission from LZ and copyright holders it can still be a pain in the butt. Typically, the people that issue the claims are one-step removed from the band and copyright holders. Most of them are automated and happen almost instantly.

might have to do it on a throwaway account or soemthing

Yeah... but it sucks... you lose any potential subs and ad revenue. plus, there is no guarantee that they won't knock the stream offline.

i am sure there is a work around... I have never dealt with LZ licensing... but it would require getting the DMCA service that they use onboard prior to starting the stream. Even then... it is a 50/50 proposition that nothing goes wrong.

The crappy part is that it isn't even copyright violation. Reviews and walk-throughs can use copyright protected IP as Fair Use just as long as they do it as an effort to inform their audience. However, fair use claims always take a day (and usually more) to clear up.

I bet Jack would give AF about getting three strikes and having his Twitch channel shut down.
You're a moron if you stream and aren't conscious of the DMCA issues right now.

Anyone who says that "so-in-so won't care about a DMCA claim" doesn't anything know anything at all about posting content online. It is like saying a race care driver doesn't care if his car explodes on the way to the race.

I think the game looks fun! I am excited to try the disappearing spinner/ball lock.

*sarcastically* I wonder if they got the powder coating BOM mixed between the Avengers IQ LE and the LZ LE

However, I suspect, just like AIQ the LE is going to look much better in person than in the photos.

Quoted from TreyBo69:

Part of the problem is you gotta get the designer on board with the theme. Steve Ritchie ain't getting hyped to make [removed the pinball machine.
The other issue is rock is kinda dead? Unless they feel like mining 90s rock. Do people really want a Pearl Jam pin? Maybe a Foo Fighters...

Rage against the Machine ... would have a certain flair to it.... and the name of the band would be ironic for a pinball machine

Quoted from TreyBo69:

I'd be into that one as well
RATM has been on my mind. I'm doing a homebrew project and while thinking of themes I keep circling back to possibly picking Run the Jewels. Zack de la Rocha does a lot of collaborating with them.
Of course there is an extreme irony considering what RATM stands for and being put on a nearly $9,200 luxury toy
But back to Led Zeppelin...it's fine. I'm happy for those that like it. I'm planning to buy a game next year, but this one ain't it.

I could see a mode now... it would be the outro to, "Killing in the name" and the goal is to *not* hit any of the flashing ramps and targets.
