Quoted from rotordave:Funny.
If you don’t know the history of the Led Zeppelin game you’re running on your Virtual Pinball, it started life as a real pin I built, and then a guy in California turned it into a VP game.
It’s creation was documented here:
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/1976-bally-led-zeppelin-retheme
It plays music too. No LCD though!
rd
Thought that was your LZ RD
Quoted from Elvishasleft:I just hope more people compare it to GNR.
Legit greatest hard rock band of all time vs an Aerosmith wanna be that started as a hair band in the late 80s.
makes sense kind of because GNR the pin is all about bling etc and Im sure LZ will play miles better.
300+ GnR pins coming to Aus and NZ.. Can't see LZ selling that many down this way. Can still buy LZ LE's here.
Quoted from rai:I can’t believe the LEs sold out (reportedly) sight unseen.
I can't believe they didn't make 100 more LE's like Munsters..
Quoted from Thunderbird:...talk is really cheap and easy. Go express yourself in the GNR fan threads, not here, we don’t want to hear your BS.
Well... you sure have in the GnR thread.
Quoted from Thunderbird:I know how to get the JJP GNR experience at a discount:
Enthusiastically wave an LED flashlight in front of your face, while listening to GNR “Not in this Lifetime” tour CD.
Total cost: $19.95
Quoted from Thunderbird:Remove the lights from this game and what do you have left? $12,5k for lights? Disappointed there is not a lot to shoot at and no interesting ball mech interaction, because there are no real motorized interactive mechs on the PF.
It is a tough game to stream and get people excited, with the lack of interesting pinball mechanics. If one likes loads of multi-balls and listening to music with tons of lights, this one is for you. Real pinball enthusiast, check before entering, lol.
Kevin at Buffalo Pinball, is doing a good job streaming this game. Grats to JJP selling out 500 CEs!
Quoted from Thunderbird:You’re so right. Reason there is nothing but multiballs is because there is not much else in the game. Programmers didn’t have much else for players to do, except go from multiball to multiball. Can see tons of people cancelling CE orders and waiting to play later on location. HUO, multiballs become monotonous big time. Problem with any band no matter how good the music, listening burnout happens and you don’t want to hear the songs for a good long while later. That’s what makes games that focus on modes and mech interaction always have us pushing the button for one more magical kinetic play.
Quoted from Hazoff:What a crock of shit that is. I'll take an open PF and speed/flow over loaded bore fest any day. But luckily we have Stern for one and JJP fpr the other.
But I already have 11 Sterns 5 of which are SR's for that, time for something different
Quoted from romulusx:Should be easy to work on?
I dunno, 3 bank drop targets can be tricky
Quoted from TreyBo69:They're really discounting the software development and the unique integration with the game.
Stern should have raised the Prem and LE price $450 then?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:You know, we need to stop jousting with these hard headed idiots. Just looking to butt heads, half of them don't have either game now or on order. Feel kinda sad for them
How do you know this ? I don't put games into my PS collection until they are in my possession.
Quoted from Psw757:At least they offer them as a upgrade on the pro. The SE GNR your stuck with that white neutered light show and if you don’t think those hot rails are built into their pricing your nuts.
The full color is a very nice light show and SE owners should be able to upgrade.
Leave my nuts out of this
