Just put my local classic rock station on and boom Kashmir! It’s a sign...I’m pretty stoked for this title.

#4 3 years ago

not a huge led zepplin fan but I like Steve Ritchie. And I like Kashmir a lot. I can definetly play pinball to that song. Looking forward to seeing it next week.

Stern and the LZ machine just got a major plug on 102.9 here in the Philly area. Can’t say I ever recall hearing stern and pinball being discussed live on fm radio, pretty cool.

#7 3 years ago

Think we get any Page or Plant callouts?

These guys are always doing interviews and media appearances so maybe there is a chance.

"Big Log"

#9 3 years ago

I stopped paying attention to rumors a while ago.

What are the current details?

Reskin of a classic or all new game?
Foundation type pro, prem,le or BS Beatles pricing?

Rumor is original design, cornerstone with three trims, by Ritchie.

All new game with pro/pre/le, SR game designer.

There's a pinhead who's sure all that glitters is Stern
And she's buying a Led Zeppelin pinball
When she orders she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a click she can get what she came for
Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a Led Zeppelin pinball

My least favorite pinball manufacturer making a pin of my favorite band. Decisions will have to be made.

Is this Steve’s swan song?

I heard “his next will be his last”

#16 3 years ago

Tim on the code than...

:/

As opposed to Deeproot, SkitB, and Heighway?

OOOOKKKKK then.

#18 3 years ago

Celebration day!

#19 3 years ago

Color scheme on the teaser looks a bit like the Mothership artwork. Probably a pipe dream but a Shepard Fairey cab/playfield would be rad.

He was asked that recently and he said he has no plans to retire unless Stern pushes him out the door.

#21 3 years ago

I’m officially in for an LE.

70 years old and still crushing it. Looking forward to LZ.

Yup, those are the only other pinball manufacturers to choose from.

You're right! I forgot JJP and Dutch!

Enjoy waiting years for you to get your game from them.

Or not waiting at all? Never said I'd buy one.

I don't know what kind of insecurities you have running around in your head but perhaps thinking before you post would help. I'll leave you to your knee-jerk reactions now.

#26 3 years ago

I'm not a music pin fan, but this might be hard to pass on. Anxious to see, play this one!!

#27 3 years ago

I put my order in for a pro can't wait to add it to the collection of rock pins.

#28 3 years ago

I just hope it's not another game that just adds an upper playfield for the Premium.

#29 3 years ago

The rumor was they went on the line back on the first Friday of November, they have to have quite a few ready to roll. May even be building LE’s at this point if they have 4-5 weeks of production already.
They just said currently building 70 games a day correct?

#30 3 years ago

when are we expecting pictures?

#31 3 years ago

.... probably see a Jack Danger LZ stream next week!

#32 3 years ago

I don't have any money - if it's good I might have to sell a kidney

#35 3 years ago

Yeah... this shit is getting out of control.

#36 3 years ago

you mean no childs theme this time?

#37 3 years ago

Several of the old bluesmen's estates will be getting more royalty checks from this pin...

Insecurities? I'm not the one jumping into a Stern thread bashing them looking for attention.

Let's get to the root of your problem. Did mommy not love you enough?

#40 3 years ago

Well I hope they do a great Pro package like they have been doing. I would be very interested in a Led Zeppelin pin but I can’t convince my wife to get another premium. Lol.

Ya me too, wife said no more premiums so I ordered an LE

#42 3 years ago

Yep... even if he gets permission from LZ and copyright holders it can still be a pain in the butt. Typically, the people that issue the claims are one-step removed from the band and copyright holders. Most of them are automated and happen almost instantly.

#43 3 years ago

Best news I've heard in a while! I hate to be greedy, but I hope Black Sabbath is next (I'm a dreamer).

might have to do it on a throwaway account or soemthing

#45 3 years ago

Why stop now? I'm in for a Limited Edition.

Yeah... but it sucks... you lose any potential subs and ad revenue. plus, there is no guarantee that they won't knock the stream offline.

i am sure there is a work around... I have never dealt with LZ licensing... but it would require getting the DMCA service that they use onboard prior to starting the stream. Even then... it is a 50/50 proposition that nothing goes wrong.

The crappy part is that it isn't even copyright violation. Reviews and walk-throughs can use copyright protected IP as Fair Use just as long as they do it as an effort to inform their audience. However, fair use claims always take a day (and usually more) to clear up.

Anyone who whines that there are too many threads for this one can go themselves.
Led Zeppelin pin is a dream theme - can't wait to see the playfield.

I hear Rush/Foo Fighters are in the long term queue for Stern too.

#49 3 years ago

Sounds like he needs a new stream site.
