The controller and the program to direct the digital leds are allready in the game, so that´s a non-issue.
I would be utterly surprised if the bom for thoose lights are above 10$.
Working with led-lighting you fairly soon realize the biggest cost is copper wiring.
That is, atleast if you are not working with ultra advanced top end quality clay pakys and such, which i´m fairly certain stern is not.
