Super spinner looks cool-looks like it will be fun to rip
Looks cool, but nothing ground breaking or unexpected. Can’t say I’m blown away, but it looks like a solid Stern in the Stern mold.
Quoted from Psw757:Where does that middle ramp lead to? Does the raise up lock take ball into subway? I’m not seeing a vuk.
Maybe stairway???

Looks like it's a quick u-turn and into the habitrail that leads down the left side of the playfield...?
Quoted from Thunderbird:It’s a zeppelin people, not a blimp. Zeppelins have an underneath structure frame, blimps do not. When the air goes out of a blimp, there’s nothing left. When it goes out of a zeppelin, the structure is still intact. Big difference between the two.
Zeppelin was the brand name of the company that built rigid airships. It's akin to calling a Q-tip what it really is - a cotton swab.
At first glance Pro looks pretty barren. Are there any mechs other than the Swan Song Bart mech? I'm thinking a lot of the money went into licensing on this one.
Quoted from HomerEBW:I would LOVE to hear the video that has been released on Facebook. :/
Its in the LE thread
Those colors (and just the nature of a band like LZ that's associated with "psychedelic culture" makes me wonder if they have a UV kit option going on this one like Stranger Things...someone needs to wave a UV light over this thing to check it out. Wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Also, not that it matters but I really wonder if the lights in the cabinet walls were in development pre-JJP GNR or if that was a late feature added to combat the new precedent-setting JJP Hotrails? Did both companies really independently have that same idea at the same time? I cant help but think its a direct response / reaction to JJP Hotrails. Either way it looks great.
Can't help wishing this layout was on GnR, for the best of both worlds.
Happy with a pro, as looks like it will play fast, and be pure adrenalin.

Yeah SR definitely knows how to make a fast game which is always fun.

These lights look amazing. January can't get here fast enough!! (Hoping le avail in jan)

I think we see them sooner than you think.

I don't see a raising spinner being worth the extra cash to jump up to a premium. I wish it had Fool In The Rain though.
The artwork on both cabinets are what I'd expect to see on a homebrew or re-skinned, Led Zep game.
Fuh-gly.
...and WTF is with Zeppelin multiball showing a fucking Zeppelin? How about getting the player amped up for a Led Zep multiball with something more imaginative and high energy. A fucking blimp? Lazy.
Layout looks real fun and a hybrid of two SR classics.
Left side definitely has some ST influence (2-bank for Ball Save, then small lane to scoop, then long orbit through spinner, left ramp)
Right side definitely has some ACDC influence (pops nest guarded by 3-bank of drops, right ramp, right orbit to jukebox/lock, 4-bank of ROCK targets).
This will probably be a shooters dream.

Bit surprised at the premium..... I love the first record but the cover sucks and thats the whole cab art package.
Just the band name and symbols would have been cooler.

Yeah, too psychedelic. Singing about Valhalla and looking like LSD- eh.. Was hoping art would fit more of their lyrics, not time of Zeppelin

Is that all that mech is? A spinner? Is it also a lock or magnet?

This game will be the king of the "Alt Translite"
Quoted from Rarehero:Is that all that mech is? A spinner? Is it also a lock or magnet?
Looks like a magnet that pulls ball under field.
Quoted from Rarehero:Is that all that mech is? A spinner? Is it also a lock or magnet?
Looked like a ball lock in the video.
Quoted from onemilemore:Wonder if we get any of that concert footage or if that's only for the teaser.
I’m thinking we do as their is a world tour mode, tour mode and electric magic tour mb so concert footage seems fitting for those. The first two have inserts on PF.
Quoted from beelzeboob:Anyone want to take a guess at the LE theme? Gotta be Zep IV, right?
I’m hoping for Houses of the Holy or Physical Graffiti
Quoted from Rarehero:Is that all that mech is? A spinner? Is it also a lock or magnet?
video shows it grab ball and take it beneath pf
This looks like the best layout Steve has had since Star Wars and AC/DC
It's got similarities to those without being a ripp off. The 3 drops in the middle and the right loop that goes to a scoop from AC/DC (I love that shot)
3 Metall ramps = fun times
The only slight (very slight) negative thing I can think of is that it is so heavy concentrated on tours. Would have loved some album modes.
The Premium Spinner/magnet mech is a totally new innovation, and it looks super cool, but it blocks a lot of shots, so I think it will not be overused in the game (a pluss)
The pro Artwork is fab fab fab. I love that they used the album covers, but I agree that the premium translite should not be the same.
If they use IV as an LE artwork I am a bit worried that it will have the same problem as the premium
Song list is the usual suspects. Nothing wrong with that.
Now give us a Killer code.
I think I am in love, already!
What's the deal with no LE photos with the other one's? That's a first-now show me the LE before the pitchforks come out Geesh!
So the obvious pro vs premium differences to the naked eye so far:
Cab art
Art blades with embedded lighting
Spinner mech that raises and lowers (with magnet)
Third flipper mini loop w/wireform that connects to right side wireform
Curious to see if there is anything else major, but they may have me with the lights dammit. I do wish the pro cab was on premium but there's a lot of opinions about that lol.
The LE has to be the mothership art the more I think about it. Mothership is the all encompassing album of their biggest hits which are all in the game and there is lots of the mothership Zepp front in center in art, toys and video.

Looks like the Premium has a half loop ramp for the 3rd flipper shot. If you pause the Pro video, you can see the 3rd flipper shot just goes to a standup target
Quoted from crlush:Pro cabinet artwork reminds me of this.

I thought the same thing too. good thing the rest of the game looks really good.
To some that pop up locking spinner mech may not look like much but I bet it adds a lot of dimension to gameplay. Seems like a tight narrow shot with lots of risk vs reward. I am liking it
So we have 10 full tracks, think there are other short clips for modes/multiball?
Seems the 10 tracks are just regular gameplay type of selections.
I don’t get the criticism of the pro cab art. I think it’s an inspired choice and looks pretty awesome.
Doesn’t appear to be anything ground breaking. Game looks like a Stern. It will be fast and fun and the music alone will create an excellent vibe. Fun one to own I’m sure, and a blast on location.
I dig GnR’s music, but Zep is a different level. Cool!
Quoted from pinmister:What's the deal with no LE photos with the other one's? That's a first-now show me the LE before the pitchforks come out Geesh!
That’s what they’ve done in the past I think. You’ll see the LE once the official press release drops.

Looks similar to the Iron man mech minus the bash toy.
I know this is the hype thread, but I'm super disappointed with the art. Especially the playfield. The cabinet art on the pro is decent and the premium seems borderline fake. The side art is decent though. Very curious to see more of the LCD screen in action later today.
