    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Early access to the newest games?
Don't mean jack shit to me but for 30 bucks a year I can see that being a valuable service for some of you NIB LE-buying lunatics.
If in fact, it's "early access to buy" games.

Would be interesting if they're willing to mess with their well-oiled LE sales system for $30/person. Even if it's just letting people cut the line for Pros, they're going to lose some early impulse-buys and it's hard to see how the math adds up. My uneducated guess is that "early access" just means you get to visit a website and see pics and streaming video a day or two before the rest of the pinball community.

Who will be the first to join? Iceman take the plunge and the rest of us will follow!

    Quoted from DennisDodel:

Spielberg directed Jaws and The Color Purple.

    So you're thinking mashup?

That is incredible! Had to google it, it’s not photoshopped, and the guy amazingly survived unscratched. And promptly showed his kids the footage.

Makes me feel better as an American having read that “cowboy pinball” thread to know there are dumb dumbs in many lands (of course the Norwegian fools turn out to be surgeons in their day jobs, but who’s counting).

    Quoted from vid1900:

It means they are owned by the same company that owns Harley Davidson?

    Sounds about right ...

    Quoted from Luckydogg420:

And if you have to join to receive things like schematics, then I really don’t like it.

I cannnot tell if you are serious with this, but when people in this thread said you’ll have to join the fan club to get schematics and code updates, they were joking. If and when Stern makes this pronouncement, or threatens to cut your brake lines if you don’t join, then by all means hit the roof.

    Quoted from Luckydogg420:

Any real information that Stern Club members learn, will be on pinside within minutes. So am I paying a club membership just to buy Stern products?

Yes. Plus you get a t-shirt and a video of Gomez and Ritchie walking around the production floor. Don’t care for any of it? Congrats, you just saved yourself $30!

Is that meant to depict the CFTBL playing a Stern pin? Interesting design choice.

    Quoted from CaptainNeo:

i think stern needs to be working more on making their games non disposable instead of stupid shit like this.

For all Stern's faults, is there another manufacturer making games that hold up better on route?

    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Neo's been making wildly inaccurate predictions about pinball for about 15 years.
I'm pretty sure he's the first guy I remember ranting about everybody overpaying and the bubble bursting.

So you’re saying he’s an early adopter?

So much for keeping the outer box or collecting it.

    Priceless!

    Quoted from TechnicalSteam:

I want a refund on my Stern Insider - so far biggest waste of money I've spent in decades.
    Just a cash grab.

Put me down as impressed as well -- with the parking ticket I just got I've already wasted $25 today and it's not even lunchtime yet.

    Quoted from littlecammi:

I'd offer to swap you something for the T-shirt and pin, but I don't want to be guilty of insider trading.
