Got my action button mod from Lior courtesy of Little Shop of Games today.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Got mine yesterday and wow this takes action button surround to a whole new level. The bag is sweet I'm thinking about taking the lenticular card out and putting it in it's place.

Quoted from Thor_Odinson:

How hard is it to install the T-Rex mod?
Also, will the paint or teeth chip? I noticed on my stock Stern T-Rex the mouth paint is already chipped.

I did mine and it was easy peasy. I am not very skilled at complex work on pins, so if I can do it, you'll be fine.

Definitely get a set of playfield jacks. They're great for so many things, especially working on your T-rex

I installed my T-Rex head today, but I'm having a hell of a time getting one of the bottom screws back in on the new T-Rex lower jaw. After a long time of pressing down on the new lower jaw with all my force, I did finally get all the screws in, but then I guess one fell out during testing because I found it at the bottom of my cabinet. The screw feels like it is a tad too short with the new jaw in place, any suggestions? I was thinking about trying to really force it in again so it catches better and really crank down on it, or possibly filing away some of the screw hole in the new T-Rex lower jaw mold so that the screw tip can protrude more out of the lower jaw mold and catch the screw hole. Maybe that hole in the new mold is just thicker than the stock jaw mold? I attached a pic of the stock head because I didn't take pics of the new one when I was putting it back together, but that is the screw location that is giving me a hard time.

I used a dremel and took some plastic out of the hole to allow the screw head to go a little deeper... had the same issue as you did Dont know the screw size.. could tale the assembly to Ace Harware and get some slightly longer screws too

Still waiting for a Raptor reveal...... just saying.....

I used a small Dremel bit by hand and I was able to shave enough away to get the screw to catch in the hole. I really made the screw tight this time! If that doesn't work I'll have to use Loctite.

Is there a way to limit the left movement? Mine is hitting the electric fence hard.
Can someone tell me the adjustment to move head more down to the ramp, for better ball catches ?
Thank you

Can you tell me what setting you used to fix this? Mine hits the electric fence too.

Hello guys

i know youre waiting for the JP upgrade kit and also for the Raptor and we will release it soon.
right now we are busy with some other projects.

The T-REX head is SOLD OUT at little shop of games and if you're looking to get one you can find it at
Ministryofpinball.com
those are the last ones you can get and there is only 4 in stock right now

The signs are almost sold out too and there is only few action buttons left.

we are working hard to upgrade the left area on that game and its takes time and if you saw the news we are busy now with different projects.

Thank you very much for your awesome support!

What is the "JP upgrade kit" and I can't wait to see the Raptor!

#665 9 months ago

His trex mold is the nicest thing he’s done imo. Absolutely stunning. Can’t wait for raptor.

#666 9 months ago

Raptor needs an update, great that they are working on it.

#667 9 months ago

The Tower needs a better mod that isn't 3D printed.

Anyone got a link to the Trex instructions? Just got mine but it did not have anything resembling instructions (no QR code either). It looks pretty simple but wanted to at least breeze over the instructions before I installed. Seems like I should also plan on using deemed or getting some slightly longer screws.

This isn’t it, but will be helpful:

Did anyone want to sell their stock T-Rex head and jaw, if undamaged? Help offset the cost of the T-Rex upgrade? I need to snag at least a jaw replacement.

Is this from a Pro model or something? My LE model trex looks substantially different in how it is removed.

Hello guys. Im very sorry to say that we are under crazy and scary war right now. This thing never happened before. We were stuck at home in the shelters, and we were not ready for that. I will try to send the instruction videos when I can. You can write here, and I will do my best to send it soon.

Thanks

This was horrible news to awaken to this morning. I hope you and your friends and family are safe.

Be well, my friend. We are all thinking of you and your countrymen during this scary situation.

Getting back in the JP club, if anyone has one of these they either no longer want or never installed and changed their mind and looking to recoup the cost, just reach out.

Thanks

Was lucky to find a T-Rex thanks to a great Pinsider who reached out.

I initially had one then sold it as I ended up selling my JP then as things seem to always change so quickly, I couldn’t go a month without the game so I will have this game for the foreseeable future.

At first I was worried I wouldn’t be able to install it correctly as I know this mech is very intricate, but I only had to slightly open up one of the Jaw holes (seems some had to do the same) and had to sand down the 3/4 spacers down to 5/8. Everything else was relatively easy.

The icing on the cake is, before the install, my T-Rex would catch most of the balls, but miss some and after the installation, it is A LOT more consistent catching the balls.

liorillusion AMAZING product and thanks for all you do for the pinball community and looking forward to what you come up with next.

The foliage on your side blades looks great, too!

Hi, just traded for a JP Prem that has the T-Rex installed. Awesome! One issue the T-Rex never eats the ball as the head doesn't appear to go low enough. I understand how to center the head. How does one lower it? Thanks

Hi Lior. Any chance you might do another run of T-Rex prior to the new Jurassic Park mods that have been hinted at; i.e. Raptor?

#696 56 days ago

Hard to see from the pics but what is the normal distance between ramp and open jaw? It seems way high to me.
