Played both. Had great games on both. Went with JP Pro. $2,000.00 less and had the “1 more game” feel to it. WW was missing that IMO. Software could fix that maybe. And dinosaurs!

Really hoping someone replaces the AWFUL call-outs on JP though.

I think licensing costs are making it difficult to tackle games in ways we're all accustomed to. JP feels like a game that exists in the JP world, but it's not JP the movie with cust scenes we want. It's more like a video game in my opinion. And I'm Ok with that. Especially if that allowed Stern the ability to get licensing for the song. The game feels great to play (great shots) and the story/modes are consistent with an "adventure" in the JP world. I think it was cleverly done.

I think TWIP talks about the way the industry is changing with regards to licensing in a recent article. At the end of the day, Pinball isn't very lucrative and it will continue to be a niche sport/market until it gains wider appeal. If we want better theme integration going forward, the industry should try and increase its audience by appealing to people outside the 40+ male market.
