The art looks great on the cabinets. Whats not to like?
The art to me seems very busy for lack of a better word. Hard to tell what is going on with all the different elements in there.
Quoted from J-Freeze:What typically comes with an LE over the premium?
Side art.
A mirrored translight/backglass as well.

Also a shaker.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Do we for certain know who the designer of this game was?
I haven't seen Elwin confirmed anywhere but I'd be surprised if it's not him.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Do we for certain know who the designer of this game was?
The rumor is Keith Elwin, and it's probably 95% certainty at this point.
Well it's certainly not Borg, since its not a fan layout. It looks very unique for Stern, so I bet/hope it is Elwin.

Info on Coder? - Llyman would be nice, tho I'm betting not.

Elwin on rules, Rick Naegele coding.
Quoted from J-Freeze:*Notation from Moderation Team, we do not allow club threads to be formed until a game is shipped, this is being converted to a hype thread*
@mods... I have always thought it would be cool to require an official unboxing pic by a pinsider who could then be the first to start the “club” thread. I thought I had seen a few club threads started by those who seem to never even own the game.... or at least much later than the first owners.
Expected time today for posting of hi-res images on IGN? Ten-thirty Central Time? Ideas? Their News page is quiet.

I was just overly excited haha.
But that's a good point.
Quoted from Coindropper:Would that be considered “clinching”?
Yes.
Yes, that's exactly what it is.
It is very exciting!
(Especially when you get other people to do it! )

I complete get it... and my general comment really wasn't directed at you... sorry if it came across that way. I only quoted you because that's where the moderators response was.
I'm excited for JP2 as well... but will likely hold off a bit due to a few too many purchases recently. I truly hope that KME's second effort turns out as good or better than his first. Played IMDN again last night in league and it is ALWAYS just so much fun to shoot. Was told by my distributor that the pro version should be at ReplayFX. Hope they have a few because I'm sure the lines will be quite long with as many players in attendance for Pinburgh.
Quoted from PinBalt:I have a bad feeling that Stern is going to delay until next week
Well... it's only 10:30 AM in Chicagoland so I'm still hopefull.
But if that reveal won't happen today I don't think It'd be tomorrow either.
The weekend usually kills the upcoming buzz.

No didn't take any offense and I get it wasn't directed at me, no worries.
And if you are ever down in the cities you can come play mine when I get it!
At work so haven’t got time to read the entire thread, but is the official reveal/announcement still planned for today?

Not looking good for it. I would have thought that if they were going to do it we would have seen something by now.
Quoted from Turdbol:I'm in for my first NIB pin. Struggling to decide on the LE vs Premium.
Lol. I don't want to naysay anything, but plz don't make an investment like this on the basis of some horrible screengrabs. XD
Quoted from Turdbol:I'm in for my first NIB pin. Struggling to decide on the LE vs Premium.
If it’s an absolute dream theme and the art is your favourite by a mile which means you must have an LE then do it.
If not then sit back and wait, let all the production kinks get ironed out and fixes installed from the factory and grab a premium in a few months, plus it gives you time to play one.
Other than the art most of the finishing touches like powder coating, art blades and speaker rings can be added after market. And I say this an LE buyer in the past, I generally hold off now unless the LE art/features blow me away.
Quoted from Turdbol:I'm in for my first NIB pin. Struggling to decide on the LE vs Premium.
I don't blame you for struggling with this decision considering we've practically seen nothing. Good luck.

Do we have any high depth photos or feature matrix stuff? Do we know the cost points (if they have changed from BK)?
Check back at 10:30am EST for the premiere.

Cost is the same as recent cornerstone games.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Do we have any high depth photos or feature matrix stuff? Do we know the cost points (if they have changed from BK)?
Same pricing structure of previous cornerstone titles (Munsters, BKsor). No price increase.
Public release today at 9:30am.

9:30 Stern Time...AKA Central time. 10:30 ET. Hope its more than a 20 second trailer...haha.
I wouldn't put too much judgement on the art from the pics we've seen so far. It is always a different story once we see hi-res where all the detail can be seen, and then different again once you see it in person. There have been many machines I wasn't impressed by at first, but did a 180 once standing in front of them. Same with the layout...really can't see a lot of what is going on yet. That said, I like what I see so far and am excited to see more!
spinning jeep, spinning heli blades, no? spinners, rex head chucks ball breaks plastics. $6000 for Pro.

Nobody is paying $6k for a pro. BKSOR had a $6k MSRP also.
announced on Facebook.
i dunno.. are people convinced this one will be better than the old one? this one has more 'bling' but the old ball eating dinosaur seems better than this one as a mech
Quoted from Wickerman2:Looks “OK” but agree old version ball grab much cooler
The old version was cool, like twice. After that it’s just another thing slowing down gameplay. Plus the ‘it was always broken’ aspect.

Not really a factor for me at all. I would rather have a kick ass layout with awesome rules then a Dino that bends over and acts as a glorified scoop. Yes, I know the original game is still cool just my opinion
In for a pro and super excited! First nib since IM Vault
Quoted from JodyG:Nobody is paying $6k for a pro.
Right, mid 5’s and if you lawfully buy it and pay tax, 6k

Please point me to some distributors for mid-$5's. I see JP Pros listed for $5799 on dealer sites.
Last 3-4 Sterns I bought were from Marco at a show. No local shows on the horizon. Gotta pay the going rate this time.

You need to call them.
Quoted from TheLaw:What are people hearing for delivery... End of August?
It’s Stern.
1) Announce.
2) Ship Pro’s in 2-3 weeks.
(And yes I’ve heard it specifically as well)
