Ok so I don't know if it's Tim's new audio I just effortlessly installed but I just had one of my all time best games. I just installed the code over my 1.01 and it has breathed new life into this game. The original film orchestration and callouts so tastefully used in all the right places, this is the version I wish Stern would have released originally. THANK YOU Tim for all your hard work and contribution to the community. Love your custom game over track!
Quoted from brickbuilder14:Oh wow great! I have a Mac and was worried. Do the new video clips work as well? Because I thought Tim said the custom videos would not work correctly. Thanks!
Same, good to hear there's a solution for us Mac folks. First timer here, when I uncompress the file it becomes a photoshop raw file which might be why I keep getting an error when I go to flash. Any tips?

Your system thinking the .RAW is a Photoshop file is normal b/c supported camera image files for Photoshop can also be .RAW. That shouldn't be in play here.
This is going to sound stupid, but try rebooting your Mac and giving it another shot. If you still get the same error I bet you it's b/c your SD is not formatted as FAT32, so you'll need to reformat the SD as such. I know that Mac's in general do not like FAT32 so someone else may have a better idea. Hopefully reboot and try again works...
Thanks Tim. Tried rebooting and reformatting the disk for FAT32 and still get the error message... I guess there's a chance the file could be corrupt so maybe I'll try downloading again.

That didn’t seem to work, no idea why this may way for some but not for me. Gonna have to track down someone with a windows pc, I’m in a Mac world here.
UPDATE: I have been running the new MacOS beta Big Sur on my laptop. I tried using an older computer running Catalina to flash and it worked fine. I suspect Balena Etcher will need a patch to work on Big Sur. Sorry I didn't realize this sooner.
Quoted from Bos98:I just wrote the image to a brand new Sandisk 16GB card and verified it without issue using Balena Etcher on Mac OS Catalina 10.15.16.
If on Mac, what did you use to flash and verify if not Balena Etcher?
Tim, I received the same POS knob you did so it's great to hear they are replacing it with the proper one. Who are you dealing with at Stern?
I've been enjoying tim's version for a long time, thought I'd switch it up and put the stern SD back in. Video is all back to stern stock, but strangely the audio is still the remix. Any thoughts why this may be happening?
Quoted from MrMikeman:Wrong SD lol. Tim’s original mix was sound only. Then he combined it with the video stuff. My guess is you put in Tim’s audio only mix.
I double checked, I never wrote over the stern SD card. Super weird...
Quoted from timlah79:adamross That is incredibly peculiar. Any given SD card is all of the code held within, so if it is the untouched stock card, then all you see/hear should be stock. Any chance you USB "patched" the card in question with an older version of the custom code via the old SPK method? That would explain why your stock card has custom audio assets but not video. If upon boot up the machine says it's 1.02 I bet you that's the culprit. If you have not done that patching to it, I have no idea why the game would be playing anything but stock assets. I say just flash the 1.03 stock .RAW image to that SD card and I imagine you'll be back to 100% stock assets.
Thanks so much Tim, I'll check it out and report back. Looking forward to hearing your new music!
