Note that they are blocking logins and signups and some things have changed since yesterday.

Would it be possible for someone to design a 3d box to house it outside of the machine, and if someone was to do this, could you move it from machine to machine? Maybe wiring would be too much of an issue?
If you never updated your code (like for me with JP, which is now code complete) would it not still work if Stern closed the loophole?

I would think the actual number of people doing this that were going to buy the kits is pretty small, and not likely worth their programing time. Doubt they are losing many actual sales.
