I just noticed that Insider All Access ($40 a year) says: "Coming Soon - access to special game related content". So not surprisingly, it looks like we will have to pay to get all the features of Insider Connected. I guess I was hoping with the big price increase on games that would not be the case. I guess as long as All Access stays at $40 a year it's not a real big cost...but still...

Not sure why they didn't go the Scorbit approach and scan a QR code on the game screen to claim a player spot...less hardware needed for that. I got achievements/online added to my Dialed In with a $15 wifi dongle.

I personally like the idea of Insider Connected, so I am not dogging the overall concept, but why add all the extra hardware cost? I don't know if I will spend $200 for my JP...but I would have spent $15 in a heartbeat.

The QR code reader makes some sense for operators and location play, but it seems pointless for home buyers. Stern should have done a dual system for player login (QR Code reader or Scan QR Code on display, configurable in the game settings), and sold the QR reader as an optional add on for operators. Maybe I will be wrong, but I don't see how that QR code reader will be used for anything except player login in the home environment.

Any updates on the IC roadmap from George's segment at expo last night? I thought Stern had said they would be announcing a lot of new stuff about IC at expo.
