Quoted from bigehrl:after having spent some time really digesting what's going on here, and as someone who's both a player and an operator, I truly feel this, for me, is the biggest pinball development since solid state electronics. i know, i know, many of you disagree and can point out several other developments that were big. But the possibilities with this seem limitless. Between the gameplay dynamic and layers of challenges it can add to the game, the interactivity between other players, and the information it can retain and inform you with, this is going to revolutionize location pinball. I'm personally looking forward to participating in this as much as possible at Jackbar, and at my other route locations.
Appreciate your perspective as you are a large operator. Do you believe location and casual players will pay higher coin drop to compensate you for these features in the future?
I may not care as much about this but bribed my teenager to watch Gomez vid knowing he would have a better pulse on it. Thought Stern did well, good for locations, tourneys, and local shows for prizes etc but asked when the paywall starts. Lol
Maybe when it’s called Insider + in a year from now?
Well, guess not all operators see the value.
Probably inevitable to see a few being flipped to recover some cost.
Quoted from scootss:The $39.99 "All Access" pass is in a bit of a transition period right now...
- Old way: Pay $40/yr and get some physical swag/loot crate type stuff sent to you and get access to the exclusive content (kinda worth it)
- Current way: Pay $40 and get access to exclusive content. No stuff sent to you. (definitely not worth it)
- Future way: Pay $XX amount and get access to some exclusive downloadable content / modes / etc for games. Access to exclusive stern web content. (Probably worth it but who knows...no specifics have been given)
Bottom line...if you haven't paid the $40 previously, I would wait.
Agree, let’s see how this whole thing plays out.
I’m leaning toward buying a T-shirt for now.

Quoted from Vitty:I'd love someone to make a dollar bill coin door slot mod to house the connected scanner so I don't have to look at it atop the apron.
Not a bad idea. Bit of an eyesore on a home game.
Would imagine from an operator perspective that red QR instruction card needs to go so pricing cards can be in place like every other machine.
Quoted from Gizmata:Gary said the kits would be discounted for a short period of time to help with adoption
Getting caught up on this subject, but certainly hope 200 clams a pop isn’t the adoption discount for operators.
