Wow, if he was only this paranoid about Kevin Kulek's ability to produce anything in his Mom's basement.

Quoted from Kobaja:Plus there's always going to be that glass-off idiot, wo Ruins the leaderboard for everyone.
From what I understand, achievements will only be "verified" if done at a coin drop locations, to try to thwart the glass-off idiots. I don't know how this will exactly work for hobbyist/at home owners of these games when we get an achievement. Is the achievement worth less points? Is there two totals for achievements "Verified" and "Non-Verified"? I dunno. Even at coin drop locations, you could have some ne'er do well tech stay after hours and "glass-off" the achievements. Not that I know or have ever known any ne'er do well techs of course.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Has to have it's own light source like a phone.
And I've found I have to have the brightness turned up pretty high on my phone for my QR code to be seen, so I'm wondering this as well.
Quoted from Fezmid:New feature: Badges
Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!
Sorry everyone. It had to be done.
Quoted from mbrave77:Anyone have similar? Any fixes?
Yeah, I had this problem with the IC scanner in my Stranger Things Pro. Eventually the lights on the scanner just went out and stayed out, so I opened a ticket with Cointaker and Eddie Yates in Stern Support, and Eddie sent me a replacement IC Scanner under warranty, then unbelievably (or quite believably in this case), the replacement IC scanner started doing the SAME thing.
Eddie wants me to take a scanner from one of other pins where the IC scanner is working fine, and swap the scanners between pins to see what happens, then report back. I need to do that ASAP. Maybe they'll send another.

Bummer, but glad to know it's not just me.
Quoted from hypnotoad:Batman 66 combined with some good players really ruled this tournament.
During the final week of the contest I think I personally propelled Michigan from the mid teens up to the #3 position with a 65 billion point game of Batman 66 (my second best game of BM66 ever). Unfortunately I could never duplicate or beat that on subsequent days, so Michigan kinda stalled out there.
BM66 is kind of a game breaker for a tournament like that, not that I mind, as I have one in my gameroom. I just wonder if Stern will take that into consideration and somehow weight scores across all machines somehow to even things out a bit, as I know they must look at scores across all machines playing in the tournament, and I think they'd see that far and away BM66 was probably the highest scorer in the states that were in the very tops of the rankings.
