Quoted from Lermods:well, good for them, but not for the consumer. I won't be adding hardware or this system to any of my games.
Lermods posting about unnecessary addons in pinball machines made me chuckle

Quoted from NeilMcRae:wut?
You aren't paying for a mode. You are paying for a device and Stern are throwing in a mode for free.
Neil.
From the perspective of someone who already wanted the device, sure.
If you however are only interested in the mode then yes, it is behind a $200USD paywall.
Let's not pretend it's going to stop here anyway.
Quoted from jdoz2:Sure, but before this update it was behind an 8k+ paywall
2k from pro to premium but I get it.
Quoted from TaylorVA:If I have the IC connected installed would players need to log in to access the other modes? If a 4 player games was being played and only 1 player was IC would everyone have access to the extra modes?
I believe the release stated that once the machine was logged in, not individual players, CIPWM would be unlocked. It's a good question but Sterns phrasing has me thinking as soon as one person logs in, the game is Insider connected and anything unlockable would be while any player was logged in.
Quoted from HarrieD:Good idea, really bad price. 39 dollars for a piece of plastic?
The seller has stated it is a whole kit including cables and clearly you do not attach any value to a man's time for drafting up the 3D print model. You are welcome to make you own if you can't justify a $39 purchase for your 7-10k game
Quoted from HarrieD:What I dislike is when the labor of passion turns into a labor of love for the green. I myself am creating several mods myself and ask a fair price for something that is ready "to go public".
E.g. I make those silent fans for Stern Spike 2 systems. Price is 25€ per fan and 40€ builtin.
So don't patronise me on costs and time spent on a mod. I think you don't know what you're talking about.
1. You sound awefully rude and confrontational.
2. I wouldn't go around bragging about your prices when those quiet fan kits of yours are 50% more than Pinmonk lol.
Is there any reason one couldn't order and install a premium apron on a pro if desired? I've only had one premium and liked the built in lights by the flippers. I could see ordering a premium apron and installing some lights of my own if there are no reasons I couldn't.
Quoted from HarrieD:2. Those fans are the el-cheapo versions. I deliver the maglev version which doens't wear out over time. But I'm sure you know all about that.
The irony that you are now defending the cost of the mod you sell is lost on you obviously. I'm don't with you. We get it, you don't want to pay $39 for a mod you can save a few bucks making yourself. Cool. You don't come across as ridiculously cheap or anything.
Now where is that button???
Quoted from BaxterStockman:Definitely going to wait for a coin door mod or something before installing it on my TMNT. Really don't like how it looks on the apron.
Quoted from BaxterStockman:Oh that's great! But then I can't use my volume nob and headphone jack.
If you contact the seller he has made custom ones for other customers for this very reason
Quoted from tbrownlee81:Sorry I'm kind of new to this, but I can't find anything resembling a dip switch on this game. Any idea where they are? Read and re-read manual and don't see anything there either [quoted image]
Aren't these switches?
Screenshot_20220111-001637_Chrome (resized).jpgQuoted from torpedo2k:What if you play at home without pants?
If you have the coindoor mount, you have just started a new "pincam" section on Pornhub
I have a Deapool pro and an Iron Maiden Pro from 2018. No insider.
I'm thinking of getting two.
What are the groups feeling toward apron IC reader vs coindoor IC reader?
If going the coin door route, can a premium kit be used on a pro? Cheaper shipping and duties to Canada without the aprons.
Thanks.
Quoted from scootss:Just a reminder that if you buy only one kit you can use hometeam to log in to both. (there are few one-time steps to follow but it is easy)
Could you elaborate a bit please?
Would I hook one up and just need a wifi dongle for the other?
Quoted from Viggin900:Give it time. This is how it all starts. Remember youtube back in the day? I watched some news today at a restaurant, been awhile. Its turned into QVC! Before long that guy at Stern will be adverstising Disney vacations. Just you watch. This is the end. Its your game. You payed for it. Don't let them use it. Turn it off!
My 10 yr old plays with the ball count turned up to anywhere from 5-10 balls. I don't have an IC Kit yet but would he still get any trophies/badges whatever?
Quoted from chuckwurt:I’m willing to pay good money for home leaderboards.
Keep that to yourself though
