Does anyone know of a 3D file to print a blanking plate for the DBV on the coin door? I know another pinsider is selling plates with the hole ready for the IC reader, but I’d like to print my own.

Quoted from John_I:I'd make it out of clear 1/8th plexi that way the reader is behind the plexi and people can't stick their fingers into it! Basically use the existing plate as a template for the mounting holes in the plexi. Then use the QR reader itself as a template for more holes to mount the reader with. Tape it off and hit the surrounding area of plexi with black Fusion paint so only the area in front of the reader is clear.
Yep - acrylic already installed from the factory. You could cut a hole in the existing blanking plate, but you would also need to JBWeld a couple of studs on the back to mount the reader to. If I had a cheap source of replacement blanking plates (I would want it to be reversible), I might go this route.
Gotfrogs - I love your solution and I don’t think it’s unfairly priced, I just need 7 and already have a 3D printer.
Quoted from mattosborn:Waiting for someone to post the dimensions of the QR reader opening. Then I will share the coin door DBV plate model for printing.
2” high by 1 9/16” wide
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:I'll see if my buddy can do one with the lights border around it.
Make it into a demigorg mouth!
Ugh - one of my games isn’t recognizing any micro SD card I insert. I wonder if one of the contact pins is jacked in the port? Has anyone ever tried to fix one of these or does the CPU node have to go to Stern for repair?
Quoted from DonnyBrsco:Are the cards fat32 formatted?
I’ve tried 2 different cards - both from Insider Connected kits. Usually when you put the card in the slot, it immediately detects it and reformats it.
Quoted from NeilMcRae:get the board out and check it over with a magnifying glass - also try putting in one formatted by another game.
Tried the micro SD card from GZ - didn’t work. Pulled the board and looked it over - couldn’t see any solder issues. I’ll email Stern and see what ideas they might have.
