Quoted from northvibe:Yes on your leader board, before you create click the check box for kiosk mode. Then you can copy/paste the link for the portrait or landscape leader board link from your account
EDIT: ahh it has been answered
Thanks everybody, yes Kiosk mode is the answer.
After weighing up the cost / benefits I've decided to go with piSignage instead which allows you to remotely update the display and rotate slides between the leaderboards (multiple versions if you like) to promote comps, challenges etc.
Quoted from Chalkey:Anybody know what's causing all the random trough error reports to pop up and go away? Happens on Bond pro all the time and once in a blue moon on a random other title.
pretty much happens on all our games and has since the beginning... we just ignore them because there isn't any notable behavior in the game to point to.
Quoted from flynnibus:pretty much happens on all our games and has since the beginning... we just ignore them because there isn't any notable behavior in the game to point to.
I was wondering. I just ignore them and the games seem to keep playing just fine.

Thousands of games on mine, never seen it.
It's just annoying to have to go look at the operator alerts to have to make sure it isn't something I need to fix.
Quoted from Black_Knight:Thousands of games on mine, never seen it.
Yeah... thousands of games on nearly 2 dozen different titles here too...
Look at your alert history in the games... I bet you see some you never saw as an alarm in the dashboard. They float in and out on their own all the time...
Quoted from DropGems:Surround light on ic is dull flickering… ?
Submit a ticket to Stern. They should replace it.
Looking through the acheivement percentages and I notice that some have zero percent achieved by people. Some of these are ones that I have been trying over and over to get, but they never seem to trigger. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? Examples are:
- Batman - Holy Double Super Batman!
- Munsters - All is well
- Munsters - Max Teeth
My godzilla had the trough error alerts sometimes when I go into test mode yet I've never seen a problem in game mode. Haven't noticed it on my other games.
Quoted from barakandl:My godzilla had the trough error alerts sometimes when I go into test mode yet I've never seen a problem in game mode. Haven't noticed it on my other games.
two of my games, munsters and mando have the random trough issues. Munsters HOWEVER does have a "pro code on LE/Prem" error but it is a pro....no idea. stern didn't know just told me to try and flash the sd card and new code. I tried a code flash off usb, same issue.
I have the fire stick w/ that app and my tv somtimes just sits at a gray screen. anyone have this issue? When I tested full power off or even unplugging and plugging it in, it worked 100%. Not sure if the app goes to refresh and just stays blank as refresh is set to every 5 min.
Quoted from smoothbore19:I have had the trough error since I unboxed my Avengers Infinity premium. I Replaced both options boards and cables and still get it very few games, but it has never effected play.
you get the error in IC, but have you ever noticed the game itself not see/find balls?
Quoted from Ryancaseystudio:Are there any special game modes that you get access to by having Connected? Thinking of getting for my AIQ, but only if it opened special modes. Don't need a $200 score keeper, although I'm a data guy so I love the analytics.
It is great for operators on location.
For home it is a very case to case basis of its worth.
It has operator alerts, same that would pop up when you enter the menu so it can definitely be helpful. If you have a location that will shut a game off if a customer reports any kind of problem you can see that it's off when everything else is on.
Quoted from cooked71:Is IC delivering remote game diagnostics for location games yet?
if it's online it parrots what you can get from the operator alerts in the coin door. More false alarms (weak WIFI and trough errors that don't matter) than actual issues but it does OK it's better than no info whatsoever.
Quoted from cooked71:Is IC delivering remote game diagnostics for location games yet?
hahhaha. no. Just phantom tech alerts that have been unhelpful. bad wifi signal and trough switch errors.
Quoted from northvibe:bad wifi signal
triggers an alert ok will stern add drivers for more wifi sticks? ship USB extension cables so that you can try to get an better signal

a metal head w/ wifi inside? whaaaa haha. Hopefully they can add a wifi antenna to the back or front of the cab.
Is there any way to have multiple user/owners for a location in IC?
Quoted from northvibe:Is there any way to have multiple user/owners for a location in IC?
Yes but you can not share the same location entry with multiple accounts.
See South-A-Philly in Saint Augustine FL,
me and another operator had to put 2 location entries with 2 different accounts.

Same here. A friend of mine helps me run pins on location and each of our games are listed under a “duplicate” IC location

So my friend that runs route will have to make a duplicate location. and IC allows those same games to be added?

If you are both running games in the same location you will both need to create a location on your operator accounts. It will show up like this on the customer end:

Yuuuup
My buddy added Insider connected to his TMNT. He sold the TMNT and only removed the scanner and not the SD-Card or WIFI dongle. Can both of these be purchased off Amazon for a smooth plug-and-play, so he doesn't have to buy the entire setup for the Jurassic Park he wants to install it in?
Cheers

He can use a supported dongle and microsd card with the scanner.

Anyone know why the IFPA version of the upgrade kit is $50 cheaper, or know what login is being asked for when you go to that page? I tried a few different passwords related to Stern Insider and the IFPA but none got me in.

Possibly for the IFPA rewards discount?

Anywhere to find a list of supported dongle/card?

Probably in this thread. For my stealth install I used the TP link dongle that everyone seems to be using and a sandisk micro sd.

are they have clock issues again?
Is the latest Godzilla code forcing a check for the IC node board? Mine would always blink for a few minutes and then usually come on. When I updated last night to 1.04 I had to unplug it to get the other node boards to update since it got stuck on finding it. Now if I startup with it plugged in it won't detect the other node boards, and if I leave it unplugged it complains that node board 4 is not found but plays fine.

Same here. Probably an internal clock issue
The play counts are definitely not working correctly. I'm observing it now, and it's way off. Heck, it seems like - not oybis the main count not even close to the per game count. But neither of the counts appear to be keeping up with the dollars I am seeing being put into the machines.

Yep, back to the old scenario,
it was working great resetting at midnight
each day for many months prior...

yep. totally out of whack. the location counts, game counts and actually dollars in the game are all different. love the old "midnight reset" that ran well for months. hope they fix it soon.
