Or maybe somebody has a good scan of the decal so I can make one myself?

I don't have a scan but I can take some well-lit and very high res photos of the area on my IJ4 if someone wants to do some photoshop magic to it?

No, never made my own insert decals. I guess there will be topics about that here on pinside? Or can you recommend something?

Pinsider STPCORE mentioned to me that he might be able to handle the decal printing side of this for us.

Well I could confidently get the artwork looking pretty good for you guys... no idea on the printing, especially for something going over the clearcoat. Give me a few days and I'll check back in with some artwork ideas.

You are going to make Raiders very happy. He tasked me with this job about two years ago but my photoshop-fu was too weak.

I got a clean image of it, touched it up and made it the right size. Printed it out on normal paper as a test and placed it on my insert - resolution and size look perfect. Now you just gotta have it printed mylar and you should be good to go. As far as the snake... I'm not so sure a mylar sticker is the best solution, I would just have it touched up with paint, clear over it, and call it a day. I attached a PDF... if that does not work, PM me your email address.

Ah, very cool. Did you make any progress on the snake portion? I think that has been the largest need for the OP / hard to get an artist to come touch up a playfield - so I think a decal is his ideal solution.

Wouldn't be that difficult, but an entire decal patching up that insert may be more of an eyesore than touching up that tiny part of the snake's neck. I can give it go if OP still needs it. I'm out of town for two weeks, I'll check back in then.

Well, I really can use this. Thx for the pdf. But the black lines around the insert are more damaged on my playfield! Is there any chance this can be added? Also, the snake is more damaged on my playfield, is there any progress on this issue?

It will be another week until I can have another go at it. No prob on the border. Can do the snake too if you think thats the way to go. Problem there could be color matching as I'm not sure what kind of printer it will printed on. All printers are a bit different so it could take a few tries.
