Quoted from michiganpinball:

I repair "the pin" games in peoples homes. We pinheads complain about them but the home game room buyers like them. They buy them from a game room supply chain and get it delivered and set up in their home. They get white glove treatment. They have fun with them and have no trouble getting service through the retail store.

I have been servicing just about all pinball machines for over 45 years. It is important to have service documentation like schematics and parts diagrams/lists so that us service techs can fix these things quickly and order the necessary parts if needed. Where on Stern's website is the link to the manual, schematics, score cards, switch matrix, coils chart, etc?

I think a couple of important mods which could be done to this machine:

Move the power switch from the backbox to the usual location near the right front leg.

Relocate the speaker to the center of the bottom panel of the cabinet. Then a person could install a bigger full range speaker for better sound.

Added over 5 years ago:

Use power switch and mounting bracket Stern # 515-7085-00 if you want to relocate the power switch assembly.

If a person wanted to add a coin door and the service switches, you'd need a 520-6967-72 Cabinet Node Board in order to interface the door to the cpu board.
