    Quoted from drfrightner:

Stern shouldn't come within 100 feet of Harry Potter. Although I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan I know people would look for that pinball to be more collector than anything else. I doubt very seriously the owner of Harry Potter who has over 1 billion dollars cares about a check from Stern for a million. I think she would care more about how it turned out... which is why she'll go with JJ IF and ONLY IF she decides to approve the game.
Warner has a track record now with JJ... WOZ, HOBBIT and now WILLY WONKA. Jersey Jack will get that pinball if it ever gets approved.
Warner hasn't really worked with Stern in a decade back to Batman Dark Knight. I don't think Batman 66 is actually warners it was FOX.
So no recent track record what so ever and JJ has three games already. I'm going with JJ on this one.

Well, first of all, the licensing will start with JK Rowling. Although she is apparently not interested in licensing HP for a pinball game, Roger Sharpe has an outstanding agreement with her that if she changes her mind, he will get to broker the deal. Guess what? His son works for Stern.

Yeah, JJP only gets HP if JK Rowling changes her mind AND Stern passes on it.

I also favour JJP for Harry Potter, see no other way to do the theme justice.

I like JJP pins, how they look, the code, you really feel like it is a premium product. But.... their theme picking is a not their best part. Not bad, but nor great either.

But biggest problem with JJP is the lay out, i dont like any of them. But one day JJP will pick a theme i love and give it a lay out i like, and than all the normal JJP features and code... will be amazing.

One thing i want to add to the picking of a theme. JJP should not only pick a great theme cause it is great, they should also be 100% sure they can use the theme how they would like. So, with music, call outs, videoclips etc. when they are not allowed to use important parts of a theme, dont pick that theme!!! Why pay for it if you can not even use it? With POTC..... unbelieveble... Such a fantstic theme, but can not use music and main characters...

But JJP will make me buy an awesome NIB one day. I am pretty sure of that.

    Quoted from Blitzburgh99:

It’s too soon for a Harry Potter pinball....need to wait about another 25 years until the kid who grew up watching Harry Potter are in their 50s and 60s. Then Stern will make only about 2000 of them and sell them at $50,000 a pop for SLE level games. That’s their business model. See recent games (Beatles, Munsters?, and BM66) as reference. It’s in their long range growth plan.

Also, with the way j k Rowling feels about pinball, time will need to pass. If I could talk to her I would change her mind about pinball. Give me time...

I talked to someone who knows, they said NO ONE will ever get Harry Potter. Everyone has tried and no one will get it end of story.

Just think of this for one second... JJP has done Wonka, Hobbit and WOZ with Warner. I'm sure they asked probably 100 million times.

There more than likely will never be a Harry Potter pinball game unless somebody makes one at home. The owner of Harry is worth Billions with a B she doesn't need to license this out for a pinball game. It's just never going to happen.

Personally I think JJP should switch to Matrix... now that would be pretty cool!

You'd have a switch matrix inside the Matrix if you switch to Matrix. *mindblown*

    Alternate reality!
    Best theme integration ever!!!

Won’t support pins because they are put in bars but fine with giving the children the idea of being in one.

JJP has said they'd never do a theme someone else has allready done.

JJP has said the next game will only be announced when it's really ready to ship.

JJP has said the standard edition of their games will not lack any physical toys.

So I guess Harry Potter by JJP is pretty much confirmed.

Which, if true, is a really stupid decision on her part but whatever...

Jk Rowling cares as little about getting license money from a pinball as you do about picking up a penny from a sidewalk.

I’ve heard this repeated many times. I’ve always asked for a link to an actual quote, or video clip proving this to me. No one has ever posted where this rumor started. I personally believe that she’s to rich to give a damn about pinball

    Arcades? Homes?

JKR is too busy trying to convince people that her characters were/are homosexual when their sexuality was never a issue or changing their ethnicity for whatever reason or jumping on the bash Trump train to worry about much else. I was a huge HP fan but at this point I’m pretty much done with JK and HP.
