Wow, how did it get up there off the wire form or an air ball?

Wow, how did it get up there off the wire form or an air ball?
Quoted from purbeast:Hmmm is this a common issue with these MRS replacement switches? Or these are just big time one offs? I was about to order one myself lol.
I cannot speak to the GZ issue (I don't own the pin) but I have one on my EATPM and it's so good, much better than the original switch.
Quoted from Sparky:Topper collection complete...for under $600 total! [quoted image]
Wow, as a person with no horse in this GZ topper race, those look awesome! Wonder if there's a Pulp Fiction one in that collection...
Quoted from Sparky:Sorry, nope. These are made to use Stern's screw configuration. Does Pulp Fiction have a screw configuration for mounting? Have ideas? I could work something up if you have an idea of what you might like. Send me a DM.
BTW, there are around 20 of these silhouette toppers available. Mostly newer Stern, but I have a cool one for LOTR, as well.
Once I get the pin I'll check it out but, did you make those toppers? I'm always amazed at the creative genius of the people in this hobby.
Quoted from tedwasright:When reading other threads, so many people on those threads believe their game is the best ever.
Are we the same? I love my game, but I haven't played a TON of other games. I've played a lot of pinball so I feel like I know something. I just wonder sometimes.. is Godzilla considered the best or top two in ANY book? Or just with Pinsiders or those that own (and bolt) it?
PS- I love mine. It's never leaving.
With more of us owning the actual games, I think the Pinside rating system is slightly skewed, especially when you're dropping 6k plus on a NIB machine. I feel it was much easier to be critical when playing on location and not having an owners bias. I suppose if you dig enough you can get an indication on whether a game is good but it still may not appeal to you.
Quoted from DaveH:As you are around pinball for a long time, you will find that there are no "BEST EVER" games. There are simply great games. I've played and owned too many games to ever consider one "best", however, GZ is definitely a great game. It is in the upper echelon of games ever made.
When you are able to take a game you don't like to play, and still recognize it as a great game, that is when you will "get it". At that point you can separate personal love of a game from the real qualities that make greatness (that isn't an opinion of GZ, it is other games that I don't like to play, but I can recognize as great games).
I agree, there are plenty of pins I enjoy more than some on the top of the charts and vice versa but if you like the game then who cares.
