Does anyone have an idea of how far into the LE run they are? I'm getting an LE and haven't heard anything yet, so I was just curious.
Quoted from Briks-707:I am pretty sure all LEs are off the line and shipped out, mine was #910/1,000 delivered last week. I believe only Pros and Premiums are on the production line now.
I know it would make more sense if games got made and shipped out the door in sequence, but that's not the way it works.
I do think they are close to the end of the run though. A friend of mine is still waiting on his LE, and was told he might get it by the end of the week.
I can't get my game to read my QR code. I have the game registered, it's connected to WIFI. I have my Stern insider code pulled up on my phone, but the game won't read it. It beeps twice and that's it.
Quoted from kermit24:You need to confirm the registration. Stern sent you an email, I believe it has instructions to confirm.
Thanks, I got it all squared away
LE 863 all set up Wednesday...just now posting.
It's the honeymoon phase of course, but I can't say I've liked a pin more at this point. It could be the GOAT.

1. Has anyone messed with the settings in the feature adjustments to dial their magna grab in?
2. When is it supposed to activate to effect the direction of the ball on the shots that pass by it? Is it random or just at certain times?
Obviously, on the main shot through the building, and I know like 4 shots feed to that spot...it just seems like it was activating on the heat ray loop all the time, and it's not now. Some shots through the building are not being fed up the orbit lane to feed the flipper, and just sort get grabbed by the magnet a bit and then go down the middle of the playfield?
Where does your left spinner shot go? Mine typically goes either to the tailwhip lane or up around the magna grab.
I read on tiltforums rules post that that shot either goes to the upper loop on the right or tailwhip loop. Are you all seeing that left spinner shot go to the upper loop? Just trying to figure out if I need to tweak my game.
Quoted from PinMonk:The two settings in the menu are only for the action that redirects the ball currently. There's no user setting to make the magna grab stronger like is was in 0.77. Supposedly more tweaks to come and possibly a menu option. The magna grab in 0.80 is crappy and weak once you've experienced 0.77.
Right...I'm just calling that captive ball/shot/area the magna grab...not sure what else to call it...not trying to refer to that particular action. Thanks for pointing that out so I can clarify what I'm asking. I guess captive ball would be the easiest thing to say.
Has anyone tweaked the settings so the redirect from the captive ball is more consistent?
Quoted from Rarehero:Has anyone messed with the magnet settings on current code? A slow shot through the building will get that nice wrap around the magnet & drop to the upper flipper like in the promo videos. A fast shot will often whip right past the magnet, or get whipped fast to the left & ricochets off the ball guide & past the upper flipper.
I've messed with mine a lot...my game does basically the same thing yours does....a fast shot won't get redirected by the magnet.
I reduced the delay to 5, and the hold time to 450, and it definitely makes a difference. It seems to more consistently do what it's supposed to, but a fast shot can still whip around, and not get redirected. I hope this gets addressed in a future update.
Quoted from PinMonk:Dunno. For example, gold gathering on jjPotC IS fun, and that's repeatedly tapping the lockdown bar button. Almost the same thing on paper. Charging the heat ray? Not fun. And NO ONE can convince me that moving the magna save from a dedicated button on the side of the cabinet on prior BK's to the lockdown bar improved the game on BK:SoR. It made it SIGNIFICANTLY worse and had nothing to do with "intent" and everything to do with cost cutting.
If this makes the game more fun for people, and they want to buy the couple parts it takes and set it up for their machine, great. Because the heat ray charge aspect of it is not fun now and BK:SoR's magna save has been broken since day one using the lockdown bar for it. My opinion. Yours may be different. But I'm simply putting a how-to out there, not forcing anyone to to it.
Everyone has a different opinion, but I think the heat ray charging is one of, if not the best use of the lock down bar in any game. I like how it's qualified, the strategy of when to use it, and then the challenge of finding the time to get it charge it up.
