Also, I posted this pic below on the GZ mod site as well… spent a few hours custom painting the roof mod I picked up at the Texas show.

I had this happen to mine as well. Same side. I took out the building from the top and then was able to take off the side plastic and re-install the blue nub and bracket. I also used blue loctite and tape as an extra measure of protection. The threading that holds the screw in did not look very ‘teethy’ that is why I used the loctite & tape. While the building was out I put tape on the other side as well to avoid a repeat.

Agree on metal and again, when I looked at the threads on the female end they were very faint like that metal was soft, which is why I felt like the loctite was needed during repair.

I agree. This heat ray callout is meaningless and has confused me in the past when it cannot be used. It should wait to tell you when it actually can be used. I actually thought it was a code error at first.

As for playing through a game and not restarting, that is your choice. I was playing my wife in a 2 player game and she was beating me going into ball 3 with about 40 million and I lit it up on my 3rd ball and hung up over 1 billion.

I adjusted the left guide around the magnet leading to the left ramp, based on the instructions linked below from the mod thread to completely remove the guide and bend it, (I did not do the plastic replacement as I don’t have that mod & my plastic is protected by clear vinyl). By fully removing the guide you can get it snug against the magnet. My magnet now throws the ball much further up towards the ramp, and left ramp shots are smoother, highly recommended. Also, the captive ball was stock dirty so while it was out I polished it with Flitz and waxed where the captive ball sits.
