Quoted from docquest:

A small blue LED on the roof of his mouth to give his mouth a blue glow might look good. You could sync it with one of the appropriate inserts so it's not on all the time.

maybe synch it with the action button so when the heat ray is ready his mouth is ready

Quoted from Allibaster:

What's the general consensus on the Megalon battle?
That one feels significantly harder than the other three to me. By the time I find the shot (in sometime a mess of colors and arrows), line it up, it's already moved to another random (?) spot. It's kind of a waste of a battle, in my opinion.

now that I figured out how he works, I like it, that it is different from the others. You can't just chain hit shots. You have to wait for him to tunnel back up.

Quoted from KingVidiot:

Couldn’t wait for the Stern art blades, and hate all the 3rd party ones, so I made my own.
I used images of destroyed buildings from all over the playfield and cabinet art and printed it out at Staples. $16. Not as nice as vinyl, but good enough for now.

love it. that's what I wanted to do as well. City buildings with damage action. Perfect job. Looks great.

Quoted from HurryUpPinball:

I just put the finishing touches on a mod to stop the Godzilla multi-ball SDTM issue. I have been testing this for the past few weeks and it works great. All three balls feed to the left flipper and you get a nice separation after they rebound off the flipper. Regarding installation, it takes less than 5 minutes. You remove the 4 screws holding on the two standard plastics on top of the building, remove the spacers from the old plastics and put them on this mod, slide the baseplate into position, and add the four screws. I have about 6 mods ready to go at the moment. I am selling these for $45 each which includes shipping. The mod can be found here:

fantastic mod and fantastic design. I usually don't do a lot of mods, but this one is a must. And reasonably priced. order placed.

Quoted from kguenther6:

I went with a slightly larger Mothra.

i think you should put him down by the flippers for tommy mode

Quoted from PinFever:

looks great. like it should be included in a 7k game . now all you get is a superbright led from a tiny main board /
these games went up in pricing and now can't even give you interactive backbox Lighting anymore that you have to buy from modders..Lol Cheap arse Stern .

Look inside a Pro GOTG where's the beef.. Tell me this Looks Expensively made and should be upwards of 6 to 7 k ? HOMEPINS YAY / Sterns Stock Prices should have Risen considerably being they are Gouging consumers [quoted image][quoted image]

who the hell wants bright backboxes anyway? I set all my backbox light to 10% when playing. Cuts down on glare. You do NOT want a lit up backbox when you are trying to play.

Quoted from Hipponotic:

I have PDI glass on every pin. You can every light in the house on and it still looks like there’s no glass…I’d recommend spending the extra 500 if you are already spending thousands.

except it doesn't eliminate DMD or BB glare.

This is unneeded expense. The new games you can just turn the BB brightness down to 10% during gameplay, and on older games, I just pull all the bulbs except 5 to 7 of them. reduces glare by 87%.

for room lighting, sure it eliminates that. But most of us around here have very dark gamerooms, so we don't have room lighting. The issues are BB and display glare, not room glare.

Quoted from BriannaWu:

Are all four of your Godzilla legs the same length? My back legs are as low as they can be, my front legs are literally as high as they can be, and my incline is still too high according to the built in bubble.

bubble doesn't work for shit. could be in the holder wrong. Could have crap under it when it was screwed in. Placing a ball and the field and watching it roll down hitting specific points, is the best way to adjust for pitch and level.

Quoted from pinballaddicted:

I did not expect much from Stern and the topper. It is similar to JP and AIQ. Just plastic bits with lights.

But the plastic bits have to feel like you are getting value. This topper is something I can make myself for $50. Even at the stupid $399 pricing. It's way over priced. Pure reflection of greed and taking advantage of the stupidity of the pinball community.
