I was happy to get confirmation with my distributor on an LE yesterday. Must….have…. all the Elwin’s!
Quoted from Rockytop:Does anyone have an idea of how far into the LE run they are? I'm getting an LE and haven't heard anything yet, so I was just curious.
I am pretty sure all LEs are off the line and shipped out, mine was #910/1,000 delivered last week. I believe only Pros and Premiums are on the production line now.
Quoted from Rockytop:I know it would make more sense if games got made and shipped out the door in sequence, but that's not the way it works.
I do think they are close to the end of the run though. A friend of mine is still waiting on his LE, and was told he might get it by the end of the week.
I meant they are all made and have been shipped out already expect for overseas orders. There are no LE’s currently on the production line, wether or not your friend has received theirs yet or not is another story.
Quoted from rai:I really love the real back glass but did Stern need to adhere the certificate on that way? I needed to get Goo Gone to get the adhesive off.
I forgot to take a picture but my pin was made on 10-28-21 (iirc)
Same here, I really hate having to carefully remove the glue residue off my brand new LE’s……. Quit putting the certificate of authenticity on the damn backglass Stern!
Quoted from kermit24:Shooting the ramp from the upper flipper simply isn’t a safe shot and shouldn’t be attempted.
exactly it’s a sucker shot not intended to be hit from the upper flipper…..it looks like it gives you AIQ vibes until you try to smack it up there and get the sdtm drain.
I’ve got about 200 plays on my LE, it got it’s first waxing and ball swap last night. I was surprised to see it instantly cut down on the amount of outlane drains by 50%, or more! I was getting frustrated with the tailwhip shot to right outlane drain if the ball wasn’t carrying enough speed or rattled at all. Now I’m actually getting bounces back to the inlane….really has made a significant difference!
Quoted from golfergordy:The simplest solution to the ball getting stuck along the side, at the back of the ramp in front of MGZ, is to stick on a bumper dot, which is typically used to buffer closing cabinet doors. I installed mine months ago and it solved the getting stuck problem 100%, and is by far the simplest way to solve the problem. It won't be seen unless you're looking for it.

I think that’s the best solution for this issue, out of sight and doesn’t put any extra nicks or scratches on the ball, there’s enough exposed metal to do that already!
