Quoted from rai:I do think Stern should have as an app not just a website login.
Apple Wallet + Watch support for QR code would be nice, too.

Quoted from mbott1701:I went with the 2009 Bandai "First Godzilla" figure on mine. Put a spot light on it too, tied to the red GI.
[quoted image]
Looks great! I may go with that one.
Has anyone thought about trying a much larger Godzilla figure, chopped at the waist or higher, like Mechagodzilla?
Quoted from manadams:Anyone else have their bridge plastics start to chip and damage on the ends? I've had the game a day and they look like this.[quoted image]
Godzilla IS destroying the bridge, isn't he? <kidding> Yeah, that's a problem. Do you know the cause? Is it from the ball or from the two halves of the bridge rubbing together? You don't have any chipping on the back side — is it because you've got a bigger gap between the sides there?
LE 194 in the house! Before I get to any serious playing, is there a Cliffy protector set out for Godzilla? I see there's a playfield protector already out, but, yeah, no, I don't know if I want to take everything apart to get it installed. Cliffys for sure, though.
Quoted from eyeamred2u:Looks good, still want to see a VUK protector, do you know if he is working on that Brian?
Want.
Quoted from izzy:And a scoop protector/
My primary area of concern.
Quoted from Ebirah:Keith and team referenced future updates as providing awesome new cutscenes
While additional scenes will be great, I hope they spend more time on the overall look of the LCD display itself. Compared to other recent games, the score, player no, ball in play, mode, hints, awards, etc., all look pretty amateurish / unfinished.
I had an opportunity to play American Pinball's Valhalla at IAAPA Expo today. While the game play doesn't even begin to compare to Godzilla, its LCD animations and scoring are gorgeous. There's nothing unfinished looking about that game's display.
Quoted from Vitty:Download keeps pausing for me and I have to restart it to continue through connected on the machine. Pain in the butt as I can’t just leave it on and forget about it
I'm having the same problem. My update has crapped out half a dozen times and the time remaining has read as high as 3,800 minutes. Currently, I'm at 1,277 minutes remaining and I'm still only 27% completed. LOL!
Quoted from Pinballmonkey:I just placed a clear rubber bumper
That's what I've been thinking. How big of a bumper did you use?
Quoted from izzy:Received my Mezel Mods middle building today. Also installed Godzilla's tail.
Love the tail! Which figure are you using there?
Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:Had to trim the right arm a bit but the bank fits now. 10/10 would recommend and a great mod for $30... especially if you paint it.
As long as you’re okay with a 1989 Godzilla in a game that is representative of the Showa Era of Godzilla films from 1954–1975. Yeah, I’m a Godzilla nerd. LOL!
Perfect size, though. I’m not a fan of Stern’s toy being considerably smaller than Mechagodzilla. Who’s the star of the show?
Quoted from Walk:General pinball question: How easy is it to mess up the side art when lifting the playfield?
Easy enough. I bought myself a set of these:
https://mezelmods.com/products/pinball-cabinet-assembly-blades
Quoted from Muymanwell:I used the wet method, worked really well.
What did you use? RapidTac? Dish soap + water?
Quoted from Muymanwell:piano wire..i used this stuff for my mothra (lower left): amazon.com link »[quoted image]
Anyone know where I can find about 444 feet less of it?
Quoted from ChipScott:I then hooked these lights (with Comet matrix system and alligator clips) to the Red portion of GI
What's a good sized alligator clip for attaching things to existing wiring? Anyone got a link? I've got an Avengers shooter rod I want to hook up to Godzilla and I'd prefer to not have to solder it in place.
Quoted from DiabloRush:Ok, that GZ topper is epic. I'll be the first to ask, where did you source this?
https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-kaiju-lezard-king-170534
You can find it all over Etsy, too, in various sizes, and in various stages of completion (unpainted/painted).
https://www.etsy.com/listing/1021158463/godzilla-dinosaur-statue-big-3d-printed
It's a cool sculpt, to be sure, but it's not even close to representing anything from the Shōwa era which the pin is based on.
Does Godzilla have an audio attract mode that can be turned on like Batman '66 has? An occasional Godzilla roar? Anything?
Quoted from awesome1:Not that I'm aware of. It will throw out some one liners if you press a flipper in attract mode, though. (Takes a little bit to reset, so you can't keep mashing the flippers for more quotes)
Yup. I was just wondering if I had missed a setting somewhere. It seems like a no-brainer to me.
Perhaps I'll look into adding the Godzilla car alarm and some sort of timer.
Quoted from mstang01:Seems like they could sell a cheaper kit with just a wifi dongle and sd card for people that already have one in the house…
All they needed to do was to have each machine display its own unique QR code, preferably on the LCD display via software, or via a simple sticker or card on the apron, and then have everyone use their phones to scan the code and log in. The camera on the apron is an unnecessary complication. And we sure seem to hear about them failing a heck of a lot of the time here on Pinside.
Quoted from RoadQueen:You could also argue that the mouth is closed and that doesn’t fit the atomic breath.
One could also argue that the tanks are so ridiculously large that Godzilla would be wiped out with one or two shells, so it would be more accurate to remove the cotton candy cloud and zip tie Godzilla so he's laying flat on his back.
Quoted from Brombomb:Looks like Godzilla is powering up
Which Godzilla figure is this? Looks great!
