Quoted from Muymanwell:very cool look; it'd really pop with some under LED lighting to give it some shadowing. If i wasn't already all-in on my ghidorah topper, i'd definitely consider that
If ordered through Mezelmods, the RGB illumination kits are available as an add-on option. They're not listed on Mezelmods yet, though.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:I think it looks really good. Tell us how you would do a topper since you think this one sucks. Outside of a Godzilla head like the BKSOR topper, what would you do that would not be redundant or use ANY artwork from the playfield or cabinet? Any use from it would be considered redundant.
Those who can not create art judge art. Just saying.
This is how I would make it.
Quoted from Killermarmot:Not sure about geography but we use it in video game development all the time meaning it's being worked on/on the way.
I think "in the pipeline" and "coming down the pike" mean very similar things. The first one means "in development," and the second means "going to happen soon." Both are common American idioms, regardless of geographic region.
Quoted from Bellagio:I have the stumblor Neon sign, lighted flipper buttons and a shaker. I asked him what the difference was between his splitters and PBL, this was his response:
We sell two splitters. The first is more of a 'dumb' splitter than simply creates more CN11 outputs. The second (the splitter+) is an improved version, creates its own 12v line separate to the node boards and is safer in terms of not using node board power. We've found in some edge cases that shakers can cause EMF voltage spike damage to mods on that Cn11 12v line which is why we went in this direction. It works the same as the PBL one yes, although that one is 3a max (ours is 5a max).
I went with the splitter plus:

I think the other difference between Stumbler's Splitter + and the one DugFreez showed from PBL is that Stumbler's is just 12v. PBL is 5v and 12v. Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I want both voltages.
Quoted from freddy:Pinball life has this 8 splitter too

That one is only 12v.
Quoted from freddy:Hey sparky
Three wires 12v-5v-G
PBL sells two different ones. Same 3-pin connector, but the black one is just ground at point, nothing on center, and 12v at bottom. The green board has ground, 5v, 12v.
The 12v only is $29. The 5v/12v is $52.
Quoted from freddy:Iam talking splitter your talking power supply.
The splitter can do both voltages
$52 power supply is for metal head game
The $49 Power supply is for mounting on wood of cab.
The 8 way splitter is not a power supply.
It has three port for 12v and 5 v
[quoted image]
Ok, so here's my confusion...according to the description of the $29 splitter board, it plugs into the 12v supply. It doesn't mention that it's also tapping the 5v supply, which might be on a different pinout. If it's not also tapping the 5v supply, the center port of the 3-pin connectors on the board are not supplying any voltage.
I'm pretty sure I've been through this before with customers of my TV mods, which require 5v.
Is there anyone using the $29 splitter who can confirm whether there is 5v at the center port of those 8 connectors?
I got to work today and checked my email... 6 new Godzilla Silhouette topper orders. Hmmm
Checked Pinside...Stern's topper was announced.
Quoted from torpedo2k:Topper collection complete.

Topper collection complete...for under $600 total!
3 Toppers Installed(1) (resized).jpgQuoted from tiltmonster:Wow, as a person with no horse in this GZ topper race, those look awesome! Wonder if there's a Pulp Fiction one in that collection...
Sorry, nope. These are made to use Stern's screw configuration. Does Pulp Fiction have a screw configuration for mounting? Have ideas? I could work something up if you have an idea of what you might like. Send me a DM.
BTW, there are around 20 of these silhouette toppers available. Mostly newer Stern, but I have a cool one for LOTR, as well.
Quoted from tiltmonster:Once I get the pin I'll check it out but, did you make those toppers? I'm always amazed at the creative genius of the people in this hobby.
Yes, I sell about 20 different silhouette toppers. You can see most of them in my Pinside Shop or on Mezelmods. That pic I showed is not actually of my gameroom. It's a pic a customer sent me. I was just being a smart-ass
Quoted from AMartin56:I'm pretty lazy with my custom toppers. I just add 1 inch felt furniture pads to the bottom of my topper and have an L bracket attached to the back that allows me to attach it to the backbox via zip ties through the ventilation holes. The slight gap between the topper and cabinet is hardly noticeable.

I've done something similar for wood backboxes, or for a shelf if I wanted to keep a topper after I sold the game. But I meant ideas for the Pulp Fiction topper, not how to mount it. Thanks for the pic, though! Always nice to see alternatives for mounting!
I ordered a pro in April and was told the next batch would be on the line in June. I received it yesterday and noticed a few minor differences from what I've been reading in this thread.
First of all, the little playfield guides are present in the game. I read previously those weren't installed on GOZ and it was causing problems with aligning the plunger.
Second thing is the plastic over the magna grab now exposed the top of the magna grab. I ended up taking mine off for an after market metal replacement (I can't remember at the moment who makes them).
I haven't turned my game on yet, but I'm assuming it doesn't have the most recent code that was released on the 16th. My build date is June 8th.
