Quoted from tbaum:I just got an installed the Tokyo Neon mod for the plastic above the scoop by stumblor honestly I think it is the nicest mod I've ever used and totally changes the look and information for that area.
yes, im on his list before purchasing gz lol
Quoted from arzoo:Custom green powder coat from Mi Pinball Refinery looks so cool (pics don't do it justice)!

Some sort of vein color
Do you know which mix it is?

I want something like that too
I received recently my gz premium and had time to play maybe -+ 10 games due to work and a 2yo baby that taking lot of my time too. Welcome to parenthood.
Is there a little guide for basic rules. Im not a good player.
I saw some YouTube videos but guys are making billions and it goes so quick.
You want to destroy all 4 cities.
To be able to start a city? The sign must be lit by shooting the ramps a few times?
To complete a city, you have to hit 8 ramps?
Another is hit spinners 3 times?
Any help appreciated here.
Quoted from Hayfarmer:I changed that back in settings so I still have to hit each ramp to start. Seemed not right to hit easier right side twice to start. And I'm not a great player, just seemed to take away the purpose of the left which is a more difficult shot
Whats the setting for that? # ?
Quoted from Hayfarmer:Easy is 1ramp, medium is 2 ramps, hard is left and right ramp

Thx
Quoted from Spiderpin:Godzilla Pinball Rules . Scroll down and download PDF file

Quoted from Nokoro:Complete rules are here:

However, it took me several readings of that and many many more games played than you have done so far to begin understanding them. And I’m still learning.
To get you started, basically each city has a battle mode. You need two ramp shots to light battle at the scoop (separate ramps after your first city). Once you then get the scoop, you choose one of four tier one battles. Each has different rules, but it is shoot the lit shot / spinner / target type of stuff. Also hitting the ramps does damage to the building which eventually will light lock. Shots to the building will then lock balls for GZ MB. Hitting the mechagodzilla spinner will also eventually activate its targets. Hit the targets to destroy the shield. Then hit the spinner again to start mechagodzilla MB.
I would start with those basic three concepts for now and then start adding to your knowledge by reading the full rules as you play more games. There is SO much more to do. That’s only scratching the surface.
Thx guys
Have just added a PinSound connecter to CN5 on the Spike board which allows you to connect an external sub.
I can't seem to get much bass out of the subwoofer. I have to crank the sub's gain right up to get anything out of it.
I had this sub on 90s pin and it was loud. This is a first try in a spike 2 machine.
Any help appreciated
Thx
Quoted from finman2000:Had a nice game with a killer Hedorah score tonight.

bump, anyone?
Quoted from Pin_Fandango:Are the weights on the shaker pointing in the same direction? Opposite? 90 degree?
A shaker has also a mechanical setting (3 actually) governed by the weights that people often forgets to check.
Same direction= hardest
90 degree= medium
Opposite = lower
no clue, its stock.
i will double check
thx
Quoted from northerndude:have you messed with the equalizer some yet?
nope, i didnt touch any settings at all. Care to tell me your current settings?
i just ordered kicker speakers and jbl sub.
Quoted from NoDisclaimer:I personally don't know anyone that uses that brand. Everyone I know including myself uses the cheap 35 dollar pinnovator. https://pinnovators.myshopify.com/products/pinsub-spike-spike2-stern-kit
i used it in my older pins, i didnt know they had a kit for spike 2. so i ordered from pinsound.
Which balls do you recommend for gz?

Quoted from jackd104:Anyone put precision flip halos on their GZ? Impression? Would love to see pics of different colors if anyone is up to share.
i just ordered black halos, looking forward to it
Quoted from brian36chambers:Hi what power settings has everyone select for each flipper. I have Precision Pinball metal flippers halographics ones (hollow interiors) and can not decide what to set each flipper at.
Id love to know as well as i have to install the same slippers soon. How hard was the install?
Hey guys,
Quick question,
Family members came over last weekend and played godzilla as usual. Their comment was the game feels slow now and i must agree(i barely played within the last months) They had hard time getting the ball into the ramps.
I recently leveled the game with a digital meter, if i recall around 7.8
Game has roughly 500 plays, original balls and never waxed other then small novus clean up.
What do you recommend? Thx
Quoted from ChiefKC:Finally joined the club today when my premium arrived. I think this is one of the best games Stern has produced.
[quoted image]
Can you post more pictures of your powdercoat? Which green it is? Did you do the speaker too plate too?
Quoted from ChiefKC:The color is called Fractured Green and is meant to represent the skin of Godzilla. I didn't have the powder coating done myself, the previous owner had done it. The speaker and coinbox are not done. I prefer it that way so that there isn't too much green. Also I plan to install the fire effect for the speakers so I prefer the black there.

Thx, i found the color on prismatic website.
Anyone can tell me how to remove the action button on the lockbar? I tried turning the big hex nut with a channel lock but it wont get out.
Same thing with the little bolt at the end on the side rails(by the flipper buttons) whats the best way to remove them?
Thx
