Quoted from Brombomb:

Just had my First T2 battle, epic fail at it, and first visit to Planet X, plus a Monster Zero. Only 838M, 2nd best score, but starting to reach some of the depths in the game!

I've had it since launch, set to 5 ball, I STILL haven't made it to Planet X yet...

... But I'm working on it!

#24352 75 days ago

I finally got my Godzilla Premium connected to wifi 2.4. I registered machine, but then realized I needed to logon to Stern website to complete registration. My second game I got over 300 million. Very exciting game with lots of deep rule sets that I have yet to learn. I can not hit that scoop like it keeps telling me to do. The ball got stuck twice at the entrance to the building and once on the side of the revolving mecha place.

I have multiple mods planned, but so many people on the lists.

I've not had the building issue you mention but a silicone cabinet door bumper placed in the right spot can clear up the ball trap at the Mecha turret. If you search the thread you should be able to find some examples.

Here's one

Keep on it! I have mine set to award an Extra Ball for beating the "replay" score instead of Free Game, which I don't need as a home game I always try and get the EB from the saucers, so my best games are definitely pushing 5 or 6 balls

Going to the settings menu. You can adjust the home position on the building. I had some occasional hang ups and made the adjustment and no more hangups. You're building home position is probably a tad too low, causing a minor lip, Make it slightly higher using the settings menu.

Thank you for letting me know that there is an adjustment. I know how to get to the settings menu. Then there was standard adjustments and many other options like 99 of them.

Quoted from retroware99:

It's definitely not the oxygen destroyer and I'm pretty sure but not 100% positive that it's not Saucer Attack multiball. The next time the ball plunges, it is just a single ball - no multiball action at all. Plus, I'm not a good enough player to reliably get to saucer attack multiball But, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely keep that in mind the next time it happens.

Could it be your Coindoor interlock switch?

A strange problem just popped up during game play.

Two things: 1. when in Ebirah is going, it starts with the left spinner at 15 as it should. Even though I don't shoot the left spinner at all it shows 0, and that I got all 15 spins.

Got pretty deep into the game, and all of a sudden the yellow LED which has the arrow up the right ramp for Gigan does not light (the left ramp does light). Also, the green tank lights on the right ramp as well as the middle loop also do not light.

I ran lamp diagnostics and the lamps light during the diagnostic.

Any clues as to what to try?

Thanks

Quoted from retroware99:

I've been having an issue where I'm playing along and all of a sudden all flippers and mechs cease to function. It's as if I've tilted but the video screen gives no indication that I have. When this happens, I don't think I have received any prior tilt warnings. Subsequent balls play just fine. This happens about once every 10 or 20 games.
Has anyone else run into this issue and if so is there a resolution? My next step in diagnosing is to turn tilts off and see if I still get the same behavior.

Of course you're sure it's not Saucer Multiball, right? Just asking to make sure.

#24360 74 days ago

Yes, regular mode. had over 1 billion and was going good. Activated Gigan in London and the lights just didn't come on. When I went up the right ramp I actually got credit for the Gigan award, but no lights on the playfield. Later I had a tank attack, but again, those particular lights at the bottom of the right ramp as well as the one just to the left of it didn't come on.

Credit for the left spinner in Ebirah was most likely from a Wallop shot which will give you credit for one "shot" in each mode.

The light issue sounds like a loose connection possibly.

I’ve had my Godzilla Pro for over a year and for the first time my ramp and scoop lights went out. The shots were registering but no lights. I logged out of IC and restarted the machine and it seems fine now. Weird.

Turned off the game last night, this morning, played and had not issues with the lights. I will report to Stern, as you said, may be a software bug.

Also, you are right on the Ebirah, I must have had a Wallop and it just didn't register in my mind at the time.

I looked at my phone because I placed a bet on DKs right before plunging and I played a 45 min game and I’m on cloud 9 Sucks I did not beat Planet X as it’s my 4th try at it ,but I cleared Tanks at least .The ball wanted nothing to do with the outlanes .I seem to always play this pin my best after a wax so you’ll see this playfield shining from the West Coast soon .I love when you have “that game” right off the bat on Sunday because now I can relax and watch football .

I’m pissed I missed a 180 mil DJP though .The tension of that shot is incredibly fun .I need to get some mars lights up on the wall and tie it in Haha .There was someone that had a mod for the game .Back right corner I believe with a old police car sized red light .Does anyone know who that guy is ?

#24371 73 days ago

Damn. I put some super bands on, trying them for the first time, and put up 1.3 billion grand champ score. Following game I had an easy 800 million. The super bands put some spin on the ball but man is it easier to control

awesome game. now buy voodoo glass since ur a pro.

#24373 73 days ago

I set the replay value to "fixed" on my machine, but it appears to have changed despite it and/or to spite me. This is my first pinball machine. What do I need to do to keep it from changing?

I played a lot of GZ Pro last week...I was not a huge fan my first time playing, but after this last go, I think I'm going to look into picking up a Premium. I suspect I was just too rusty the first time I flipped it. But since playing a lot more pinball since then, I'm starting to see the genius behind the layout.

Yeah, I was gonna say you're helping to put Davey's (stumblor) kids through college, LoL.

And I just bought Diddy's Tesla towers because my own kids are joining up to buy them for me for Xmass. That. of course, means I have to buy them and they'll give the money to my wife. Then I'll pretend to look surprised on Xmass morning.

Hi Guys,
I received and installed my heatray mod center from Flaverflav. Very impressive and cool!
There are a lot of great mods for this machine but this one not only makes the machine look better but it makes shooting spinners more satisfying with those light effects (6) on the translite.
I also customized the lighting effects via wifi. For me it is a must have as the Tesla Towers!
[quoted image][quoted image]

Yeah it's really awesome and instantly eye catching.
I do have to adjust it every so often because with the shaker it seems to slip a bit then you can see the shadow of the little housing but it's a 30sec fix.

How hard was it to do the custom light effects I should get in and noodle with that too

I have one but haven’t installed yet. Was it complicated? I haven’t found a YouTube video and there looks like there are a lot of connections after you get the bulb replacement in there.

I just followed the printed instructions and it wasn't too bad. Took a little while as there are a number of connections to be made and wire routing to tidy up, but it wasn't the hardest mod I've ever installed by any stretch.

On my premium, the screws loosened up on the bridge plastics that keep the ball from falling off. One plastic fell off, which is how I learned about this. When I investigated, all had become loose.

The front screws are easy to reach, but the back ones were not at all. I had to take a lot of the bridge apart and put it back correctly as far as I know. I am having an issue though where the bridge pieces will not sit flush on occasion and the ball will be trapped. It will clear with a ball search, but this is not ideal, especially with it on location.

Can anyone offer suggestions as to what I might have done to cause this? The assembly is fairly simple and each stack of hardware and the spacer is assembled the same as far as I noticed. I’m wondering if I have something too tight, or maybe even too loose. I don’t think I mixed up any of the spacers, I did at first but noticed the error and swapped them back so it all went together pretty much as expected.

When you mentioned MG's left elbow, I presume you are referring to his left elbow (which is actually on the right side as looking from the player's position). The ball occasionally gets stuck near the other elbow too - actually more near the armpit. Anyway, I solved my ball stuck problem (between the elbow and the right side wall of the pf, and the plastic below the elbow), by just manually moving the whole arm around a bit until there was enough open space for the ball to roll free whenever it gets into that same location again. There's enough free play in the arm to do this, and the arm stays put in the position you leave it in. I did this fix in my game and the ball hasn't gotten stuck there again for the next year + (and counting).

I went thru this before I ended up replacing the plastics with the metal mod.... But you don't need to have the mod to utilize the access instructions to reach that last hidden screw. The deconstruction begins at the 1:55 mark.

Do you have the Abe_Filps shooter lane fix installed? It decreases the ball hopping up there and makes the plunge buttery smooth.

I added some blue loctite when reattaching my plastics.

It's one of those things it's not hard just a little time consuming making sure everything is routed nice and neatly but I found the printed instructions good enough to go from.
It's just the 3 spinners and the action button, then routing up to the back box and mounting the lights.

So, I’ve had my Godzilla for a few months and it was working fine. Now, it seems that the magnet isn’t holding the ball long enough or not at all. Is there a recommended magnet pulse setting or fix? Thanks in advanced.

The magnet only holds the ball during megagrab and its countdown, other times it is a diverter.

Finally got the tilt topper and installed it. Loving the look.

Nice topper. Just went to the Tilttopper.com website. Is it just me or does the $895.00 pricetag seem like a big statistical outlier from the dozen other toppers they sell in the $150-$239 range? And its the only topper they call a "limited edition."

Come on! Ain't we gettin' bent over enough by Stern on this BS?

Agreed!

And that Godzilla bust is hideous. It looks like something a kid made with some paper mache.

#24398 69 days ago

How "grabby" should magna-grab be? I find I often activate it, but the ball isn't caught. Usually when I'm trying for a Left ramp shot. I'd say I have a less than 50% ball grab rate.

I occasionally get 2 balls loaded into my plunger. Happens every 3 to 5 games, just 1 time. Is this a trough eject issue, or opto?

To be fair - this topper is significantly more extensive that other TILT toppers with the screens so it's never going to be $239.

Totally agree. This 1000 price point on toppers is just BS! If it costs 1K then at minimal, it should be a nice 3D printed and painted topper with some effects occurring like the Pulp Fiction LE or Goddather Collector’s edition pin toppers. I personally don’t care for pin toppers, and at the 1K price, I’m totally out. Waste of money towards other mods that can be used on the playfield area. Just my 2 cents.
