Quoted from Pinball-NJA:

I think you need to hit the pop bumper to complete

Yeah correct, to defeat you need 15,40,15 spins on spinners left to right plus a shot to the pop bumper after. Still says 3/4 when you do all 4 things and get the defeat bonus. Not sure what's up with that.

I've been experiencing the same. Hit the pop, screen shows Ebirah as defeated, but only 3/4 (with footpring stamp on top) on kaiju selection screen.

Can anyone with a pro chime in if the aforementioned Magnalube comes with it? I'm curious if its for the Godzilla magnet on all models or for something related to just the premium/LE mechs.

Why was that piece of cardboard taped on like that? hope all is ok under that.

Supposedly I am on "a list" but does any one know when we will get the privilege of buying the crazy expensive topper?

I pretty sure mine didn't come with it.

Quoted from Dan1733:

Anyone else getting lots -- lots -- of airballs hitting through the Mechagodzilla jump ramp? Often with the ball jumping in the ramp that returns to the left in-lane?
My apologies if this has been covered in earlier messages.....

This was happening to me because the mecha ramp was a smidge higher than the playfield. Super easy adjustment under the playfield. Loosen the white lock nut with an adjustable pliers and then adjust height of ramp mechanism with the bottom screw using your fingers. Once everything is level, tighten the lock nut back up and you should be good to go. Once my ramp was flush with the playfield, very few airballs.

It’s here!
Hole in the box but luckily it’s the bottom of the cabinet and no damage.

I think it looks great except for his red scales. I might need to take a paint brush to mine and make them a more bluish gray.

#2314 2 years ago

I am having an issue with the center spinner registering hits. I noticed that I never got the heat ray and Ebriah battle couldn't get completed on the center spinner even though I hit it a lot. When I spin the other two spinners I see it racking up points on the screen but when I spin the center it doesn't change the score and it is harder to spin. How do I adjust the spinner?

Thanks

#2315 2 years ago
Quoted from crwjumper:

My playfield and 3 of my buddy’s playfields are all crap. Very little clear so woodgrain transfers to the surface. It’s almost like they laid down the art and then added no clear coat at all. I put a playfield protector on mine and will be adding one to one of my buddy’s as soon as it arrives.

What numbers ...curious about batches w/issues?

Agreed. Thats exactly what I am doing with mine. A light blue to match the cabinet art. Mine did not come with fire breath (used) so I will have to make my own - blue as well.

Lol I even got banned from twitch chat in the pro reveal for stating the loop was clanky.

moderation = rise of 1 cyberbullying took trolling to the next level.

limiting speech in any way is incredibly risky to many.
Most liberal minded people believe that the speech most important to receive protection and see open expression is that which makes us the most uncomfortable.
So by definition limiting speech that one person deems hateful or disrespectful is the opposite of our first amendment ideal.
But whatever /
if the pro feels Clanky . then It feels clanky . To kick you for an observation is just rude .

This is a great start. Code and video have a LONG ways to go. Hopefully.

As good as it plays I’m hoping there is MUCH MORE left to add to this game

Gonna be honest, the foil is fine but I feel like it darkens the cab, I don’t think it’s that amazing

Does anyone think the audio is a little less clear than other stern games? Not from a hardware standpoint but the music/call outs seem like they aren’t quite as crisp sounding as I’m used to. I do play with headphones BTW

Use the line out on the CPU board and send that to a cheap $30 Pyle amp on Amazon and plug your headphones into that and it will sound great.

I could see your point on the cabinet art. Personally I think the foil art looks beautiful especially with a lit room or with sunshine coming in. The audio I don’t seem to notice a difference between my premium and Godzilla LE

#2334 2 years ago

Loving this game so far! I like how Keith comes up with fun exciting new shots. The way the ball whips around on this game is a lot of fun.

I'd like to know what people use as audio settings on the stock LE speakers also. On my JP LE I changed them to match what someone suggested in this post quoted below. I changed my Godzilla to these settings and to me it sounded better than it did before I changed it, but it would be great to hear what other people suggest as good settings also.

Quoted from kpg:

Sure - feel free to adjust from my settings to you specific preferences, but I found these to sound great on my LE. I'd imagine similar settings on any model should improve the audio but I can't confirm that of course:
{latest code 1.0}
Fade: -2
8ohm backbox and cab speaker (default on LE)
Backbox Bass Gain: +7.875 dB
Backbox Treble Gain: +9 dB
Cab Bass Gain: +7.5 dB
Can Treble Gain: +9.75 dB
I keep my volume at 26, any higher any there would likely need to be adjustments. But this sounds loud and much better than factory settings for sure.

^^^This. Just ordered my kit today. My GZLE sits between AIQ and JP2, both with PinWoofer kits and the difference is night and day. Hoping to breathe some more life into GZ.

Has anybody updated their code and lost audio?

After I updated, all audio (music, sound effects, speech) is gone and I'm getting a little thumping noise from the time it boots to gameplay.

#2341 2 years ago

I find the inserts in the game to be pretty odd, they are small and hard to read, and way back in the playfield. No inserts near the slings but rather in the center of the playfield under the wireform intersection so they are obstructed…

Quoted from Hayfarmer:

I'm currently using the stock LE speaker setup with an external sub, you think the pinwoofer stern kit would be a major upgrade over that? Just asking because I kinda like having moved the low end out of the pin cabinet itself, seems to minimize rattle.

Nope, sometimes ya get tired of the giant insert letters. I found those distracted me more, just my 2 cents.

#2345 2 years ago
Quoted from Stargeezer:

My GZLE was left on the porch- no driver, no signature. Shouldn't be.

You phrased that completely wrong.

What you should be doing is phoning your distributor asking where your machine is. When they say it's been delivered ask for a POD.

Lol ok, you like the inserts being outside of tour natural line of site and covered by wireforms huh

Quoted from nicoy3k:

Not what I said, but infer what u want. Lol how do you know what my natural line of sight should be? The game has many angles to many players, wouldn't you agree? Not here to be argumentative, just give some player perspective, been playing for nearly 40 years, but always learning.

#2348 2 years ago
Quoted from eyeamred2u:

Not what I said, but infer what u want. Lol

I’m glad we agree then!

I think there is a reason why basically every game has the key inserts near the slings/flippers. Not a huge deal, just an observation. It’s combination of position, size, and wireform coverage that makes it awkward for me.

Not agreeing with ya. Frustration is only yours, thanks for sharing it. Maybe it will get better, I may have frustrations as the code changes who knows. I just say not every game is for every person, it happens.

Adding a sub should be good enough. It’s a pinball machine not a 7.1 surround sound system. I added subs to my EHOH, AIQ, and GOTG and made a big difference. I bought the pinnovators spike II sub kit for $35 and very happy with the results. I did it for all my stern spike II pins I have owned.
