Quoted from Rockytop:

I know it would make more sense if games got made and shipped out the door in sequence, but that's not the way it works.
I do think they are close to the end of the run though. A friend of mine is still waiting on his LE, and was told he might get it by the end of the week.

How do they choose the numbers?

#1352 1 year ago

Can someone please measure the connected sticker next to the right speaker? I asked Space coast pinball to make a magnet to cover that ugly decal. He's come up with 2 great options already , just need a measurement, my le not here yet. Thanks

It's ~151mm x 34mm.

But just pull it off. It's thick textured vinyl and comes right off (this could be a problem for location play now that I know this - kids pull off anything not nailed down). You can get it off undamaged pretty easily and then use some 467MP if you or someone you sell it to wants to put it back for a "factory" look.

I just took it off the one I have now that I've made this journey of discovery on your behalf. Easy peasy. I'll put it in the goodie bag with new 467MP already on it so some future person can peel and stick it again if they want.

#1354 1 year ago
Quoted from Mando:

It does this in a more slow shot but if I nail that shot perfect ar full speed it's down the middle faster than I can ever nudge lol . Reminds me a bit if that star wars shot.

Honestly I think it’s designed this way. That isn’t a shot. It’s an exit only *insert annoyed wife joke here*.

There is no reason to ever shoot there AFAIK.

#1355 1 year ago

Thanks for measuring! I don't want to remove just in case if I sell someday, long down the road, the buyer might want it original. And he has come up with 2 designs that look great .

Seriously. I'll send you some 467MP to put on it after you sell it, making it peel and stick just like it was in the factory before they defaced the speaker panel with it. Pull it off carefully, put on the 467MP I'll send you, and toss it in the goodie bag. The best solution.

Hold on and I'll get you a pic of what the decal looks like with the 467MP returned to the backside. Stock look.

Quoted from Mando:

Anyone who says the premium is not a huge upgrade is kidding themselves, this thing is LOADED with fun stuff. Locking balls and cool mechs is what pinball is all about IMO!

I am not kidding myself. The pro is great. I don’t feel the premium is worth $2200 more. The building is cool but for me not worth it. MechaGodzilla mech is good but doesn’t blow my mind. The pro is great.

AIQ premium was not worth it to me and felt the pro shot better as did the GZ pro. I played a GZ pro and glad I did. Pro is my favorite artwork and a good buy. JP premium is worth the extra money to me, t-Rex mech is great and the game is just so much better.

Glad you are happy with yours but pro owners of GZ are not kidding themselves. For us the extra cost is not justifiable.

I have played both. Thanks tho.

I'll take you up on that 467, but I'll wait till you get that gnr topper mod ready .thx

Quoted from Mando:

No ... But none of these machines , or mods etc are worth what we are paying for them . We do it anyway and in this case it's the way to go IMO 3 pretty major gameplay features. I have a turtles LE but a good argument could be made the pro there is fine ... Not in this case IMO.

Wouldn’t call them major upgrades. It’s all subjective. Played a pro and premium. For me preferred the pro especially at $6600. Premium at $8700 to $8900 is a lot. Hit that over $8k price tag, for me I am out.

No more NIB for me after GZ. Especially after Stern decided to do the 40th anniversary EHOH and ship them buy Christmas and premiums delayed again till next year. And people waiting for Mando premiums also since May. F Stern.

There is no reason to ever shoot there AFAIK.

If you do shoot the exit when godzilla MB super jackpot is qualified, you get 2x super jackpot (vs 1x super jackpot shooting the building).

I do hope that they add more use for that shot in future code updates. To have a makeable shot that is mostly useless in the game is a huge waste of playfield potential.

I’m so excited, I got my new Godzilla LE today, but when I power it on it says “nodes 1,8,9, 10 not found.”

I checked all my connections, nothing seems loose, any suggestions?

Coin door closed?

#1364 1 year ago

Yes. I closed it and turned the power off and back on. Credit on free play but start button doesn’t light up and won’t start a game

#1365 1 year ago
Quoted from RobbyIRL5:

-I haven’t gotten all the way through it, but seems like there is a risk/reward system like GnR in that second column of monster fights called fight or flee. I got to it but of course drained as quickly as the pinball gods would allow (every time I’ve gotten there).

In the second column there are team-up fights. You can opt to fight or flee during those fights. It’s like the risk it option on AC/DC.

Quoted from Rockytop:

Does anyone have an idea of how far into the LE run they are? I'm getting an LE and haven't heard anything yet, so I was just curious.

Me too. The distro I ordered through said he paid in full the first day the LEs were available, which is supposed to give you priority treatment, but perhaps because he's a small/new outfit they bumped him (and me) to the end of the line.

#1367 1 year ago

LE owners - anyone right wireform not return the ball as smooth as the left? My left wireform the ball drops into the inlane so smooth. The right is fine but it's just not as smooth. Originally the ball sometimes would bounce back but I loosened the nut holding the wireform and it helped for sure. Still not as ultra smooth as left though. Do you guys have a similar experience? If not, any tips to make that drop into the right inlane smoother (no rattle at all)? It's not a problem but just curious.

Here you go.

With "stern connected" vinyl sticker (factory)
speaker-panel-with-connected-sml (resized).jpg

Without sticker superior retro spike look
speaker-panel-without-connected-sml (resized).jpg

Removed sticker restored with peel-off 467MP, ready to be stuck again. The adhesive on the sticker from the factory looks very similar to (but probably a chinese ripoff of) 3M 467MP, anyway.

Guessing we’re ordering from the same new dealer. I’m getting the other LE he is getting.

Hey there, slow down. That is not a universal Pro owner concensus. I own a GZ Pro and the GZ Premium (or LE if you have the dough and luck) is clearly the one to get for the best experience in this case. Completely obvious.

I also stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.

^^^^^^

Open coin door, on the left you will see a blue node board( node board 1). You will also see the start button and coin door wiring routed over to the board. Check the connections there. I have had bent pins from sloppy assembly. Also check all connections on that board. You may have to raise playfield

#1383 1 year ago
Quoted from Mando:

Has anyone solved the ball going SDTM on a loop shot that enters right of the magnet end exits the building ? Seemed this exit is aimed directly at the middle drain ? On a prem/Le if it matters.

You might be too steep…
What’s it set at?

Sounds like an ethernet connection issue in the backbox. Post a picture of the backbox inside to see the cables.

Night Train is right I guess there are no inserta there.. though it does count as a hit to the building . That's pretty odd to have a makeable shot like that with no inserts ! It is hard to hit .

Actually I went steeper to 7 and it seems better ? I was low .

I pull the interlock button out and everything plays fine, when I close the coin door that hinge hits the white interlock?? button and pushes it back in and it won’t play

#1388 1 year ago

It’s a shot. For sure double super jackpot during building multiball after getting enough jackpots.

That is a silly question ! Haha JK

Just pull the glass off and put them on playfield let them fall in the drain. Easy

#1390 1 year ago

It’s playing fine with the coin box door open. Sorry to spam so many questions.

Grey on top , Grey red down one no pin in middle

#1398 1 year ago

Yeah looks to be correct, Gray up and gray red down. I wiggled it and the start light came on and the action button light. But when I opened the coin door and closed it again it turned off again. I guess I’ll be calling Stern tomorrow

#1399 1 year ago

Yep, I rechecked and there is a open pin in middle. Might be bad crimp or faulty switch

Pop it out and place it in the cab so you can play with the door shut while you wait on stern to reply
