Quoted from Pinhead1982:where’s the GZ topper pics.. egarly awaiting those
ya, that's fairly hotly anticipated...i both want it to be super cool and don't, because i'm trying to build my own from a ghidorah statue
Quoted from Billygrippo:I just orderd a premium from nitro for the “late fall” run. Anyone bought from nitro before? I’m pumped, but it’s gonna be a long wait…..
I ordered one from them too for the same run. A buddy has ordered all of his NIB from them nothing but good things to say…
Quoted from Pugster:I ordered one from them too for the same run. A buddy has ordered all of his NIB from them nothing but good things to say…
I thought so. Tommy was lightning fast to every email I sent. Seems like a good dude!
Quoted from mbrave77:yea Ive seen a lot of them like that. Who cares? Its not visable when you play or look at the machine put together. If the top of it that shows was rusted Id be pissed
That rust will spread and that is an issue.
The rust is not going to spread. Unless he lives in the Everglades without an air conditioner.
Rust is the new playfield dimple.
Quoted from Billygrippo:I thought so. Tommy was lightning fast to every email I sent. Seems like a good dude!
He's done some very bad things, very publicly. The main thread about it was deleted, but there are references to it. It was no small issue.

Supposedly his wife was taking over to save the business from his lack of control, but I guess he's back now that it's been a couple years?
I get it, I get it. But PLEASE, let's not take the Godzilla thread here where it "could" go.
Godzilla, godzilla.........

I agree. One and done for informational purposes only as far as I'm concerned. It was discussed to death when it happened, and there are references to it on pinside, so not really necessary to discuss it even more 2 years later.
I'd like to get some new pinballs for Godzilla and Jurassic Park (both premium). Looking for recommendations from the group please.

Which lasted 400 games here before magnetized. That is one strong magnet this game has.
Quoted from gambit3113:Calm down, dude.
Serious question:
Are you still acting in theatrical plays?
I ordered this pro plastic protector in error and wanted to see if anyone needs it. Free to whoever messages me.

Anyone experience the game randomly reset? I was checking on the game today and cleaning it (it’s on route) and I played about 3 games when I noticed the screen that shows the map of Tokyo or whatever had a black shadow covering the middle of the screen. I thought maybe it was part of the new code I uploaded last week and kept playing. Couple of seconds later it reset and showed the Godzilla screen when you first power it up then the version of the game, etc. played maybe 6-7 games after no problem. Should I call Stern?

for a single reset? No - send them a bug report email if you want... but don't waste time over isolated incidents. if it starts happening regularly.. then maybe.
Another thing stern should be doing themselves via Insider Connected...

Aren't they still doing Microsoft resets every 24 hours if you leave the pin on? I was surprised to see it happen on both Deadpool and Maiden, but I think there was a message in red in the corner before it did it, so this one could have just been a software glitch.
There's a great video out there... showing Karl (iepinball) getting to Planet-X. But if you are interested how to get there with an average skill set please check this video
Finally got my shipment in from Wizard Mods. Utilized the apron decal, but have already committed to other side blades and flipper toppers...so I'm going to put the side blades and flipper toppers up on the marketplace.
On their Wizard Mods site, they are $90 plus tax and international shipping, and 18 bucks plus tax and international shipping, respectively.
I'm going to sell them at a bit of a discount from that, so if anyone is interested, please feel free to reach out via PM or respond to the ad, if desired.
Thanks!
EDIT: side blades and flipper toppers -Sold

This is really weird but I though I'd pass it along. My connect light has been out for about a month. I reset the cables, ect to no avail. I left my GZ on overnight (I blame it on beer) and woke up and still no connect light. I cut the machine off and returned 2 hours later. Connect light now works 100 percent. I have no idea what happened.

Wtf? Mine still doesn't work, still waiting to hear back from my distro ( he isn't the most communicative guy! )
Something is bothering me. I have my machine connected to 2 others through a switch. Every time I switch between machines, with all powered off, when I boot up the newly connected machine the scanner node board gets updated. Every time!. Is it doing this for everyone or just me?

They are all connected because the other two do not have IC?
Just a complete shot in the dark here, but maybe the firmware required on that node board is different for each machine. Maybe it's just the required version being installed. I'm guessing having multiple machines connected to a single IC node board was ever in their designs.

operating as designed.
Quoted from digitaldocc:Silly question but if I wanted to remove the rail from behind the top flipper how would one do that? I don't see bolts underneath. Not even under the assembly. [quoted image][quoted image]
It's dangerous to remove. The barbs that hold it in often take playfield chunks when it comes out.
Quoted from Wariodolby:Why Does my Godzilla LE have some cheap recycled lockdown bar ?
It has rust !!!!
Can’t be more disappointed.

Is it only last few years/spike era machines that came with the clips instead of the lock down mech?
My star trek, xmen, tron le's didn't. My ironman vault which has the same clip style lock down is factory rough texture coated and doesn't have it though.

Yeah, the snap lock bars are new to spike era machines.

Mine stopped working on my Maiden and did not come back on. Stern is replacing it this week. Seems to be a common issue.

Quoted from barroncaliber:looking for whats the most popular sound speaker upgrade for zilla?
Bang for buck I'd say external sub (with a line-out converter), then high efficiency 5.25" backbox speakers. But with the audio of this game, I'd just do sub and be done.

Those animated flame speakers are pretty hot. Probably the best on-theme speaker light kit to date.

Yeah I thought I’d never order speaker lights in my lifetime as they do nothing for me, but I did order these. They’re just so perfect.

I’m a huge fan of the OG speaker lights and I’m gonna get these too.
Quoted from troon47:How do I know if my pinballs are or are becoming magnetized?
Have them touch a paper clip and try to pick up the paper clip. If it lifts, they’re magnetized.
Quoted from troon47:How do I know if my pinballs are or are becoming magnetized?
Take out and touch with paper clip or something light. Mine were after 500 plays. Were the good carbon core ones too from ball baron
So it looks like I better order several dozen balls, carbon or not, for future replacement after they become magnetized again after a few hundred plays? Do people just toss the old magnetized, replaced ones? thanks.

I've got an old gumball machine now filled with the old ones. Just can't seem to throw em away

I can't wait to get mine!
If you're not watching the playoffs at INDISC right now, you should be, if for nothing else than the mesmerizing play of Walt Wood. His wacky animated play style is ridiculously entertaining to watch, and he has the skills to match his play style as he's in the semifinals currently.

Don’t sound good to me if they became magnetized. Try standard shiny balls from Titan pinball. I’ve never had those magnetize going on 5 years now using them.

Watched him get over 70 who ramps in a row and about 130 for the game and he put his whole body into every one of them. Haha

Yeah, that was a great one. Loop after loop after loop and sonic boom after boom after boom. Pretty sure he was levitating for part of that.
