I just listed my second mod for Godzilla Prem / LE pinball machines in the Pinside shop. This mod interacts with the game and replaces the stock plastics on the left and right side of the MechaGodzilla spinner. This mod includes the right and left side shields, a custom-made wiring harness with inline fuse holder, switch controller box, and a light sensor. All connectors are Molex and can be easily plugged in. I have 15 that will be ready to ship this week (1/31/22) and will be building up a stockpile to be available for future orders similar to my first Godzilla Roof Mod. I am keeping the shipping cost the same as my first mod. Shipping is currently offered to the US, Canada, and Europe. The item can be found in the Pinside shop at the following link:
https://pinside.com/pinball/market/shops/1368-hurryuppinball/05798-mechagodzilla-interactive-shield-mod-godzilla-prem-le

I also created a short demo video to go along with the install video and links to both videos can be found below.

Quoted from jonnyqtrek:

Looks great! Question: does it light up to follow the current color of the MG lights, or is it static to the ice blue?

It works based off of a light sensor placed under the playfield. I have mine set near the 3 leds on the insert just in front of the ramp/spinner. You could set it closer or further away and it will affect the intensity of the mod. It is not always on unless you place it too close to the insert at which point room light can make it stay on all the time. You can add a piece of tape to really filter out area light if you wanted to. Really flexible in terms of how you set it up. The light sensor is held on with the blue 3d bracket and is repositionable.

Quoted from Sleal16:

Think he meant if your light will switch between blue and red colors according to what the existing lights are flashing as.

Sorry. I misread that. You could technically do that and have different color lights sink but it would require 3 separate LEDs and wiring coming from the mod as well as 3 sensors and 3 switch control units (or possibly a raspberry pi if you can program one). You would also need to block off the area around the inserts to avoid light bleed for the sensor. You could do it, but it would be a good bit of work. I went with the blue to match the MechaGodzilla shield.

For anyone that ordered the MechaGodzilla Interactive Shield mod this past week, your orders have been shipped and I spent this past week working to build up some inventory. I currently have 17 MechaGodzilla shield mods and 13 roof mods boxed up and ready to ship if you are looking for one or both. Links are included below. Thank you again to everyone who purchased a mod and made it possible for me to grow. I am working hard on some new and exciting mods and really appreciate the support.

I realized this morning that my inventory was getting low (was down to three remaining) on the SDTM roof mod fix so I fired up all the printers and went to work. If anyone is looking to pick up a roof mod for the Prem / LE, I should have about 30 boxed up and ready to ship by tomorrow evening. I also have 11 MechaGodzilla interactive shield mods boxed up and ready to go if you are looking for one. The lens on the shield mod is also GITD and I caught the picture below after closing down my workspace for the night.
I posted the links to the two mods and I ship either same day or the following morning.
Off to update game code and check out what is new in .91!

In anticipation of Godzilla Premiums heading back to the production line, I am firing up the printers and making a batch of 40-50 Godzilla multi-ball SDTM fix roof mods. I currently have about 8 on hand and ready to ship. I try to stay ahead of orders and prefer running batches so no one has to wait. Just wanted to share this with the group in case anyone is having GZ multi-ball SDTM issues on their Prem/le or is picking up a Prem in the next run and would like to order one. For anyone curious to see the difference between the GZ multi-ball drop without and with the mod installed, I have an install video on the shop item page so you can see the difference. I think I have just enough time between prints to update to the new code and check things out. Can’t wait to see what else has been added with the new code drop.

The roof mod and a few other mods can be found in my Pinside shop with the following link:

Quoted from toyotaboy:

I find it interesting you're split between prusa and ender 5. I'm loving my ender 5 machines. I'm only going to consider prusa again when the XL comes out.

I started with 3 Ender 5s then moved to the Prusas. I find they excel in different areas and like having the mix of the two depending on what I am printing. Bang for the buck, it is pretty hard to beat the Ender 5. The Prusas do print a bit faster than the Ender on the same settings so I use them for prototyping new mods frequently. The Ender taught me how to work through settings and the basics which helped a lot. I felt like I earned my stripes putting together those Prusas though, took about 6-7 hours each.

I have been busy designing and prototyping mods for several games then remembered my LVDS to HDMI converter card for streaming kept falling off of the backbox on Godzilla as I was using stand off tabs. Designed and printed this thing in under an hour. Problem solved. It’s a simple design but works perfectly.

Yes please! I am dying for something like this for my stream. Can I order three plus a custom Zilla LE rooftop mod?

Sorry for the long delay in responding. Just saw this now. If you are still looking for a few along with the roof mod, PM me and I can set that up.

Quoted from Apinjunkie:

I had some time yesterday to do a little roof work on hurry up pinballs SDTM mod. Weathered and added a few accents. I plan on adding some strobing lights around the helipad once my machine arrives.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

I love it and think it looks great! Nicely done.

With the recent run of GZ premiums going out, I saw my inventory of SDTM roof mods disappear pretty quickly. I spent time of the last two weeks making another batch. If you are interested in purchasing one, be sure to check out the link below to my pinside shop. I currently have 47 boxed up and ready to ship. To anyone who already purchased one, thank you so much for the support. It all goes back into pinball, streaming, and YouTube tutorial video creation. Stay safe and play more pinball!
