We will start with a 3D printed Xilien UFO shooter rod threaded on a steel shaft. Despite the high price of the game, we are trying to keep this one priced reasonably at $50 shipped.

How about a godzilla , with lighted eyes and mouth to replace the factory one? Maybe tied into a flasher or pops? I love the hermit you made me for LZ.
Somebody should definitely make a maser cannon as well. There are plenty of different types to choose from, including one from MechaGodzilla but not from this series of films. I wish I knew how to do this stuff.

Any of the monsters displayed on the playfield would make a good mod as well. Even though Titanosaurus isn't popular in the Godzilla universe, it would make a good mod for the LE's because 'Terror of MechaGodzilla' is the theme of the cabinet artwork on that model. He is the only monster missing.

No way that tail fits! Can’t believe how much those figures cost.
While everyone wants a replacement gray(ish) Godzilla, the problem with that is that it won't match the art in the game. I know many won't care but it would definitely annoy me. I'm kind of torn on whether I would want a replacement to be gray or green and I would hope whoever comes up with the solution would offer a choice.

It will match the Godzilla on the screen
To me it’s less about changing the figure for how it looks and more about adding some sort of interactivity to it. Make it move or at leas shoot a blue laser led from its mouth and then I may consider replacing it

I bought this Showa era 12 inch Godzilla and I’m thinking of building a broken bridge over water, similar to the trailer screen shot.

Are you thinking a 3D printed one? If you do design one for 3d printing, I hope you are willing to share the file, so others can print it off.

Ohhhhh yes. Officially licensed Godzilla ANYthing gets very expensive, very quickly. And so does pinball. So you put the two together, and, it's nothing but good times!

Yes, I am pretty sure it is the Leo version. I might have to add some orangish/red accents to this one to make it match better.
I also got some toys to build an erstwhile topper (before the $3k Stern one comes out).
The wife and I are gonna use some of these to make a cityscape topper, maybe make some light up fake flames out of thin plastic.
The best bit is the Criterion collection of Showa era movies. 15, including all 10 from the game. Beautiful packaging with huge essays. Highly recommended. One thing about the Stern price tag, it makes everything else seem cheap in comparison!

Instead of subway in English, do one that says chikatetsu (Japanese for subway) in Japanese Kanji characters:
地下鉄
You could put subway in English in small letters below it. That is generally how they do those signs at subway/railway stations in Japan. Just a thought.

Just to inform everyone, my role is coming up with ideas for the games along with the team at MEZELmods. We have two full time designers. I don’t get on pinside as much anymore due to my other job. I am thinking about sharing the emails of our designers and their alignment to each mod so folks from pinside can give them direct input on how to make them even better.
What do you think?

I wanted to share my Godzilla topper concept art.
Dont mind the Godzilla in the middle that is just for sizing purposes. Shhhh.
The topper will be interactive with sound and moving parts. This will be like nothing I have ever done before and Ive got some great people Im working with to make this happen. Kristin at Mezel Mods has been a huge help in designing the city scape, which I can only imagine what it will look like when it's done. My artist Jay will be doing all the custom artwork and Tilt Graphics will be handling the printing. This will be a coop with Laseriffic / Cointakers and will be sold through Cointakers. As I have more to show Ill start a thread of my own.
