Thanks, I meant the pop bumper body and skirt…changing it from white to clear. I already have the Lior Art of Pinball UFO saucer which I’m replacing with the interactive DMCS saucer here:

Clear base, body, and skirt here:

Note: you’ll need to file down the skirt length to fit, or adjust the sensor otherwise.

Could someone share the link for the correct parts to do this mod and switch out the white pop bumper for clear? I’d like to do this mod, thanks[quoted image]

This post has all the info you need for the clear pop bumper parts:

Perfect, thank you! I’m thinking I might just change the base and skirt to clear and keep the white body so as not to show any wiring or have any undesirable light reflection/refraction onto the playfield. The DMCS saucer and control board already provide enough of a light show. Decisions

Has anyone managed to find a King Ghidora figure in the 6.5" tall range that can fit in the back of the playfield? I was thinking standing over the center spinner lane would be a good spot.

I tried this one already but it wasn't a good fit:

I recently added a King Ghidorah to the right rear corner of my machine. The figure I bought is a "Trendmasters Ghidorah" from 1994. Do a search on eBay and you'll find a couple.

It's basically made of rubber so the wings vibrate a bit, which I like. The legs, tails, wings, and necks have wires internally so you can bend / position things the way you want. The one I bought was kinda greenish in color so I painted it metallic gold.

Mounting was easy enough. If you look in the right rear corner of your machine in the area below the building on the backwall, you'll find a locknut holding down the plastic. I replaced this with a 1.5 inch post. I then jammed a wire up Ghidorah's butt, formed a loop in the other end and mounted it to the post.

I think it looks like it belongs there and is a great compliment to Godzilla on the other side of the machine.

I use the Mezco "Destroy All Monsters" one. Its left wing needs to be inserted tilted sightly downward to allow the glass to clear it, but otherwise it's a great figure to have back there

Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I am gearing up for another run of Pre/LE Godzilla bridges if anyone wants to get in. I do have them listed on my store though price is a bit higher there to cover fee's. You can see the original thread here for more details. https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/godzilla-premium-le-train-bridge-mod

I designed, make and hand paint/distress these bridges and have over 100 satisfied customers.

I also have an exciting new tool that I will be releasing shortly which will work on all Stern games for modding and maintenence.

You can PM me for details.

Just installed the Abe Flips inspired shooter lane fix imported from Germany.

Superior quality, fits like a glove. Looks factory

If it doesn't come up in the page below link do a search for skillshot optimizer

What is the total cost of that shipped to the states?

How long did it take to arrive from when you ordered it?

What is the installation on it like too?

It was around 80 shipped, about 3 weeks, 2 minute install... 2 screws replace old plate under level

I hadn't yet posted an image with all seven Kaiju figures (and an egg) so here we go:

... And depending on which Allies you've gotten, Mothra, Rodan and Anguirus each get lit up in their insert color.

Do they accept Paypal? Looks like you need to create an account before you can get to any payment details.

We are looking to create various 3 inch figures with a High end look of course. Is there much interest?

#3466 1 year ago

I would be interested. Your work on the Oxygen Destroyer mod was first class.

Here is a link to the English version. Search "skillshot optimizer". Listed for 45 Euro's or $37.82 US
Yes you do need to set up an account before you can order. Confirm e-mail comes through in seconds. Click link. Complete set up and order. Quick process. With shipping to WI it was 73,xx Euros roughly $85. PayPal lets you enter the Euro amount and converts it to $ for you.
Easy.

Not exactly sure I call that a "quick process" lol given how many extra checkboxes and confirms and buttons had to be clicked, but success! Thanks for the info on this.

Just installed the PRO translite on my Premium

With the powder coat I did and me personally feeling it’s the better of the two as it match’s the cabinet perfectly and just make the game pop more.

The pics don’t do it justice

That looks really nice I was considering an orange powder coat if I ever get the extra cash.

Hey all, sorry if this has been asked recently. Anybody have a rough idea of the current lead times on Doug’s flamin frames? I know it’s a while and really don’t care per se, I just was hoping for a rough idea before placing the order. But also didn’t want to message in and ask lol.

Is there a preference between the two shooter lane fixes? One is black printed plastic, the other is stainless steel. Do they both work the same?

It's really to your own preference, I think. I printed my own black version of the shooter lane fix and it is not noticeable in the machine. The stainless one looks a little better I think, it looks like a factory piece. Is the appearance difference worth the cost differential? Really a personal preference thing I think.

Here's the long black plastic version installed. You certainly don't notice it when playing and the top edge of the playfield there is black as well so it definitely doesn't look out of place, in my opinion.

Of note the stainless one is $2 cheaper but costs slightly more to ship. The final cost ends up being only about $1 different

Quoted from twenty84:

Ahh, very fair point. I printed my own so the cost was much less but I didn't click the link and note that the stainless in question was yours shipping from within the US. Recent discussion in the thread had the one out of europe in my head, which I think drives a larger cost differential.

I have your Mechagodzilla pieces and really like them, by the way. They suit the theme really well and match the rest of the stainless that makes up a good portion of that turret area. I think the close-up pics of some of the Chrome Candy pieces doesn't serve them well. The Mecha pieces look perfect to me in the context of the playfield, where the close-ups make them look almost "too simple" compared to some of the sculpted mods.

#3484 1 year ago

I have a 3D printed one that my buddy did and it solves most of the issues with the plunge, but if I see one similar to the metal ones from that Freddy's store that is in Europe, made and shipped from the US to make it not cost so much, I would "upgrade" to that one price depending. I just can't spend $80 for that part when what I have now works fine, but the $80 one looks so much better.

#3485 1 year ago

A few posts up..Chrome Candy is making them.

Yeah that isn't nearly as nice as the one from Europe. I wouldn't "upgrade" so that one, it looks sleek but still doesn't look stock or anything like the other one does.

Get the Myth Pinball kit. It's great, has additional options, and I'd highly recommend the under cab kit (does flame effect below too). They'll ship pretty quick and will be happy to answer your questions.

Thanks for the advice/feedback. I have looked at the Myth lights and actually am probably ordering a set for my JP that I keep at my grandparent’s house. I talked to the owner at Expo and he was a great guy. I like the Myth product.

That being said, I do like Doug’s flamin frames more. I did place my order already, my GZ pro isn’t going anywhere unless I get a premium. And even then I’ll still need the kit.

I have the myths and they are great.

Bonus points you can change colors (GZ Green flames!) with them as well as patterns and they have promised updates.

No comments on Doug’s, but I’ve heard nothing but positives.
