Quoted from VisitorQ:

I plan on replacing my Godzilla today with the NECA 1954 Godzilla, any tips?

It is not too tough. First piece of advice is to prop up the rear of the playfield for better access to that area. Here is my local friend from Rocket City Pinball demonstrating this for a Rush mod installation. You can also use a shorter piece under the playfield rather than the handle, but must be really careful to find a spot that doesn't crush any wires or components.

This works great, I used this method to install my barchetta I bought from rocket city. To help stabilize, I screwed on a 1' long piece to bottom to form a "t".

Oh cool, nice little tip. Thanks for sharing.

As far as the Godzilla figure, is there anything that I need to watch out for or just the one just pop right out and I just screw in the other?

Pro or Premium? The Premium has screws which go right into the holes on his foot. The Pro has a different way to mount the flat plastic Godzilla, and what I did was make a slotted cross-piece from acrylic which screws onto the existing mount. Then I threaded zipties into the slot. Real easy, no damage to the game, and I could arrange the figure in a way that (to me) looks better in the game - I have him looming over the bridge holding a destroyed train.

I did the easiest install method. Andy from Rocket City came over and installed my barchetta for me while I watched. I suppose it did cost me though; he put up a grand champion score on my Rush that I still haven't beaten.

Made this post a while back for mine. It’s the poster version but I think it’s the exact same figure with a different paint job.

I had planned on putting my topper in today and then these showed up in the mail yesterday. The Tokyo neon sign mod goes in tonight after work. The other is going to require some paint prior to placement but it's day is coming. Bandai King Ghidorah movie monster series, found it on eBay for $35. As a bonus the seller included an unsolicited GZ Lego mini-fig. Wish I didn't have to work today.

Of course you are, I'm sure it'll be another great mod too. Might as well have my checks direct deposited to your account anymore.

it gets discussed every few days. just read last few pages of this thread, or look through the photo gallery and find the one you like.

Of all the ones I’ve seen, I liked Sleal16’s the best because it matches the art. I bought it and it looks great on my machine.

#2415 1 year ago

I think Sleal16 GZ is best.
I also like the 1956 King of Monsters Neca GZ.

Nice, if your looking for a stable area to secure the fire breathe, consider what I did... Couple zip ties to the bridge base that doesn't move and one on the spot, completely solid no matter how much the bridge goes crazy or playfield lifted

I did what a few others are doing. Added the super7 Mothra today. Didn’t think it needed it, but looks good either way. The flasher comes through the figure just fine too. Easy install. Just remove the black screws/original Mothra plastic and then replace the black screws(not all the way yet) Slide your new figures right wing(your left) over the left screw and then you can tighten the screw enough to where it’s holding the wing, and the right screw will be left out a little more so the other wing just rests on it, and pushes against the building beside it. I actually tucked mine under the building just a hair.

Mine seems to stay in place just fine without any additional help but if it would tend to pop loose, I would probably just drop a few drops of super glue to keep it secure. I guess time will tell but so far, no issues.

Believe it or not, Loctite is probably a better option. Superglue won't stick great to the plastic used in these figures; it will eventually wear off. Loctite will at least create more friction (you'll have to JAM the atomic fire into his mouth), and it's removable

I can always use two part epoxy but thanks for the tip.

Hot glue might be better. It can withstand vibrations, and it can still be removed without damage.

I honestly don't know if there is a need for anything... I played a few games so far and it seemed to stay in place just fine.

It likely was checked but deemed acceptable as the game is still fully functional and 100%

But no way I would be happy with that, the art has chipped around the hole, you can see it if you zoom in a little. It would drive my OCD nuts, hope you get a replacement playfield at the very minimum.

Transplanted from the Godzilla Club thread:

Quoted from RTS:

You still miss the point. Attacking me is just another defense tactic.
I could understand it better if you were a hobbyist creating the kits, but you said it's your full time job.
Attacking any potential customer is unprofessional and supports my point that that you come first, not the customer.
A good business person would want to improve.

Yes....you keep attaching me over and over and over and over again...and I am going to defend myself. Sorry, I'm not the kind of Mr. Businessman to let that pass. Please don't make me go back and grab all of the quotes from you bashing, crying and lying about me and my product. If anyone wants to see the string it was posted on the Godzilla Club thread. You are not a customer, and I don't know if you know this or not, but you are not a potential customer (if I knew who you were).

I am tired of you being the one complaining about my delivery times over and over and over and over again when you haven't even placed an order for one of my light kits. There is no stopping that, as I have nothing to deliver to you.....so the complaining goes on and on from you. Other people that DID order from me have already got their orders and are happy with their light kits, but not you....better to not order and just complain about it for months on end. We get it....it takes a while to get a flaming light kit from me. It's right there on my website where I let people know before placing an order.

What you seem to be avoiding is me calling BULLSHIT on your repeated claims that the Myth Pinball light kits look exactly the same and indistinguishable from my Flaming Speaker Light Kits and you not backing up that claim. I mean you claim to have 1 - 3 Myth Pinball light kits....and not even a single picture posted of them. Do you have their building designs also? I would really love to see a picture of it installed, as that seems to be something no one is willing to show off mounted in a game or even on a speaker panel.

So, until you post a video showing otherwise....well it really seems you are just a guy bashing me over and over, for who knows what reason, with no credibility.

Here is my flaming speaker light kit (without foam and with foam and plastic canvas). I have nothing to hide. Now let's see a video of the Myth Pinball light kits looking exactly like that as you keep claiming over and over again......or stop with your lies. We have already seen that it's not only me that gets tired of you doing it.

Doug (SpeakerLightkits.com)

PS: No beef with Myth Pinball, though I think them not showing their building design mounted in a speaker panel is pretty sus. My issue is with RTS and not that he is speaking his opinion, it's that he won't just do that and let it go. If you are going to continue to repeat the light kits look exactly the same every time someone, say they prefer my flaming lights....back that up with something.

#2440 1 year ago

Let's end the speaker light debate. This is a short vid of my game, unfiltered . Can someone with myth or cointaker upload a vid so we can compare side by side? I have no stake in this, just a customer who likes these better than the other options.

Finally joined the club on 8/5 when I received my GZ Premium after a 6 month wait. What a game! I immediately launched into mod installation mode as I have been stock piling them since I ordered the game. After 4 long days and a lot of help from my wife, the job is done. What some may see as clutter I see as an amazing world under glass. For anyone curious, Here's is a list of what I added to my game:
1. full set of Mezel Mod building upgrades and MaserLight cannon
2. Flaming Frame speaker light kits from SpeakerLightKits.com
3. Kenwood KFC-1366S 5 1/4" speakers from Kenwood (Amazon)
4. Start Button from Rocket City Pinball
5. Saucer Pop Button and Mechagodzilla shield mods from the Art of Pinball
6. Tesla Towers and Jet mod from TDiddy
7. coin door magnetic panel from Inscribed Solutions
8. lollipop style side armor, King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Anguirus figures from Pinball Life
9. Mothra and Jet jaguar figures from Super 7
10. Plastic protectors from ULEK
11. Street ramp decals from Tilt Graphics
12. Side blades and flipper caps from Wizard Mod
13. NECA 1964 Godzilla figure from Bizarrro Toys (Amazon)
14. Oxygen Destroyer from High End Mods (BTW, it is really great)
15. Tokyo Neon Sign by Stumblor (also really great)
16. Stern 'Mothra egg' shooter rod
17. TOHO magnetic sign from Space Coast Pinball
18. Full set of Cliffy Protectors from Passion for Pinballs
19. Silicone flipper rings from Titan pinball
And last but not least, at least for now, I bought my game from one of the best distributors out there, NEXT LEVELPINBALL SHOP
