Quoted from Cwells3290:

I cut a circle the size of the figure out of 3/4” thick wood. Brushed glue around the inside and pressed the wood into the bottom of the figure. You can attach some felt onto the bottom of the wood if you are worried about scratching the mounting plastic. Use the holes on the mounting plastic as a template to mark your drill holes on the wood base. Two small wood screws hold it very securely.

I did the wood to fill the cavity and then used double sided tape. Held securely so far. Good idea using the wood screws.

Added Ghidorah, Manila, and Xilian Alien. Ghidorah fits perfect in the back and used a glue dot to secure Manila.

Where did you find Manilla? Thx

#1507 1 year ago

Also check eBay; there are scores of Minilla toys, the Japanese vinyl toys are less expensive and look pretty much identical

#1508 1 year ago

Received my “Cheko’s mods” saucer from Sleal16 yesterday. Anyone on the fence it’s every bit as good as the pics. Super happy I got on the list. Price is great also!

Now I just need my Premium to hurry up and get here in July

Manila is not cheap on eBay. He’s an older rare figure and usually goes for $80 plus. They don’t look good either, definitely not identical.Plus the set comes with Ghidorah that fits great.

Nice work

I now took the input of the blue light from the Lockbar button and from the destruction insert. Came out pretty cool and fits also to the heat ray

Amazing. I bought the small and large saucer. I am mounting the smaller saucer and making it interactive just above the scoop, pics to come shortly.

I have been working on a better way to add a flaming effect to the back wall building. This is a Comet flaming bulb mounted inside the building that is tied into the red GI.

I apologize for the wait on my od mod. Life happened and things slowed for a minute but it is moving well again. Plus there was a wait on a few parts. We are just getting a few things right and have been testing the electrical aspects of it. Last thing we want is to fry a node board or something. I have been running a proto for a few months now on my LE and it is awesome. Crisp and interactive without issue after running the game for hours many times.

We are working on getting the gauge right. We want it to be up to par. The first batch should be ready to ship shortly. I will have some more progress pics too. This is the proto gauge.

I'll be honest, I love the physical model of sleal16 more than Liors but even though sleal's is more accurate with the spaceship being white. Lior's looks best on the playfield given the surrounding objects around it. The big white ship simply stands out to much, and this was the only reason I went with Lior's I think it's just a matter of aesthetics that stay true to the original as opposed to aesthetics that work best in it's surroundings. If Sleal had a version with the color similar to Lior's I would have went with it. That's just my thoughts on the subject, both looks amazing and kudos to both designers but this is just my opinion and why I went with Liors version.

I went with what I thought was the best looking and most accurate mod. Sleal by a landslide on both counts, my opinion both are great tho

Speaking of the mods on my Godzilla here are some pictures and video of what I've done with mine.

I especially love the Topper I put together which the colors are entirely programmable. I have mine going from Green to Blue as that made lore sense.

Video Below
https://photos.app.goo.gl/KDFJDTGEett4436s7

And this story is funny, I invited my neighbor over to come check out my newest pinball machine and ended up having the best game of my life thus far on it while simply playing to try to show him the rules set. Once I crossed 700 Million on the first ball I knew I had to keep going. This was the result, I did choke on 2 extra balls so it could have been higher but it was an awesome moment and I captured both of our excitement a few moments as my run ended.

I want to give credit to this community for helping me "A Rookie" Mod my machine. Especially to nocreditdot and Nikko and Koops who helped me immensely fixing the Bridge issues that plauge this machine and how to create a harness and connect the AIQ shooter knob. It looks so much better than the official Godzilla I initially ordered and returned.

Nice looking ride. And that topper is amazing! Well done sir.

#1536 1 year ago

Thanks guys. Hooked's chrome looks to be available soon, so that will add a nice mix to the options out there for folks along with the guys from TPF (there were a couple of names thrown around so forgot who they were, but saw the photos). Think theres a total of 6 options out there? As a gameplay element, I do love that bumper and how it translates nicely into a more immersive object with these mods.

Our pupper just went through his third hip surgery today (grumble), but should be a quicker recovery apparently. I'll back at it in the next day or so.

Quoted from Rdoyle1978:

I'm going to build my own - the controller is $12 on ebay, and I have tons of the LED strips laying around from other things. Might take me 30 minutes to put together. Might be worth considering!

Considering the same. It’ll be 6 months in a few weeks for me, so I’ll be getting a refund if it doesn’t show up and go this route too.

At these wait times for something this simple, this is a pre-order, and should be advertised/sold as such. I literally waited less time for my premium Godzilla, which I only needed to put down 10% for.

I’m cool with waiting a long while.
I’m cool with zero communication.
And I’m even cool with being overcharged for some simple plastic parts… but all 3 at the same time?

Yes please! I am dying for something like this for my stream. Can I order three plus a custom Zilla LE rooftop mod?

Sorry for the long delay in responding. Just saw this now. If you are still looking for a few along with the roof mod, PM me and I can set that up.

I had some time yesterday to do a little roof work on hurry up pinballs SDTM mod. Weathered and added a few accents. I plan on adding some strobing lights around the helipad once my machine arrives.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

#1547 1 year ago
Quoted from sirlonzelot:

So here are some pics how I did it
All you need is a ciri Controller,ws2812 stripes, some brackets and a cable canal.
The ciri Controller has different effects which can selected in speed and duration. The stripe can be activated by every led and every coil. The controller has two inputs. I use the red gi and the scoop coil.
The good you can also use the controller for the Godzilla figure. I have one with a red/orange flame. Waiting for the blue one , then I can show.for the moment here is video of the other one

Here is a link to the controller

All can be removed without residues

It looks like your mini ciri is up to verson 4. I was talking with the maker when he was on version 1. I mentioned being interested in the board for a speaker light kit trigger. He said the downside of that would be that the speaker lights wouldn't be doing anything until they were triggered. Then, within a week or two, he redesigned the board so you could select one light pattern to display normally and another to activate when triggered. I was really impressed with his implementing that, but did let him know I didn't understand why all of the connections needed to be solder pad connection. I mean the entire reason for the board is to control addressable light strips....it seems pretty silly not to have an output for addressable light strips. As for the trigger wire.... I'm sure different people would be wanting different length and connection on them, and again, it seemed silly to me that there was no easy way to change that wire connection. He assured me there was nothing he could do in that aspect.

In any case...I went ahead and ordered a couple, which I had to have shipped to a friend in Germany to then be forwarded to me (because international shipping is hard... I guess???). In any case.....by the time I received them, he contacted me and let me know he was already on version 4 (I don't know what the heck version 3 was), but he had implemented all of the suggestions I had made that he seemed to describe as basically being imposable. .....and I was stuck with version 2. I wasn't very happy about it honestly. It's not like he did anything wrong or improving something is an issue, but ripping though 4 versions in such a quick period of time and me being stuck with version 2 when all of the features I asked for were on version 4 put me off.

So if anyone is interested a mini pin ciri version 2....let me know via PM and I'll sell it / them (I have 2) for $20 each + shipping. I believe I paid well over $150 for them when it was all said and done with all of the shipping / forwarding. I believe the version 2 have the same functionality of the version 4.......you just have to solder all of the wires on instead of the PCB having the each to connect to terminal blocks. Now that I look at version 4 in your pictures....it appears that it may have a 2nd trigger connection, whereas verion 2 just allows for 1 trigger (though that trigger can also be a light, switch or coil).

In any case...it would be a DIY sale and I wouldn't be responsible for any support or defects. They are new, never used and therefore untested. I didn't really intend for this to be a for sale post, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to use them...so might as well offer up if anyone does want to give them a go.

I’m jumping into this forum without reading the previous 1500+ posts, so please forgive me for asking this question. I just put my Godzilla Premium on order. I know it’ll ll be a while before I get it. Has someone assembled a list of must have mods for this pin?

Hopefully he will ship to the U.K. if so I don’t mind forwarding on a few.

In the last few days I've been testing the Spike2 compatibility of my Lollypops board in my Godzilla Premium.

3 x LED/Sensor combinations:

1. Lolly LED Ring in Jazzbouche 's UFO mod, triggered by the pop switch
2. Single Lolly post light in left sling, triggered by sling switch
3. Single Lolly post light in right sling, triggered by sling switch

This leaves one port free - probably to implement sirlonzelot 's awesome backbox lighting.
